I have a question guys. Is tap water potable in Costa Rica? I’m attending a latin singles tour there and my immediate worry is if the tap water is safe to drink in there. I’ve read some posts online that it is, but I can never be too sure.

I’ve had a bad case of stomach flu before and since then I’ve had a very sensitive stomach. I don’t want to experience that again. Do you guys think it’s okay to drink tap during my trip? It would save me quite some money if I don’t buy bottled water. Will appreciate your two cents on this. Thanks.
