I slammed a nerd against the lockers. Everyone else passed by me. I'm tougher and stronger now. I have been since- never mind. I didn't want to talk about it. I walked to my history class, stopping along the way to say hi to my buddy, Geoff and his girlfriend Bridgette. "Dude, you going to her grave?" Geoff asked.I sighed. I mean, Brianna's dead now and you're free-" I slammed my locker door and scowled at her," Don't talk about that in front of me." She was getting upset. I stared at the corner of my room. I felt depressed. I walked into the kitchen and opened my silverware drawer. I took out a sharp knife blade. I was about to do it, when the phone rang. It was Gwen,"Will you go?" "NO!" I slammed the phone onto the reciever. I went back into the kitchen. I nearly fainted when I saw the knife gone and back in the drawer. I took it out and tried again. Then the doorbell rang. It was Gwen crying on the doorstep. I slammed the door. I went to the knife, but it was gone. I couldn't believe it. Suddenly, I felt warmth come over me. It smelled familiar. I decided to rest in my room. I went into bed and fell asleep.

In my dream, I was standing there with the knife in my hand. Suddenly, a beautiful white girl with short brown-red hair and black streaks came over to me. Brianna. I tried to hold her hand, but my hand went through. I saw her looking at the knife, then at me. "Duncan, please, don't do it. I won't let you. It's not your fault I died. It's nobody's. I love you. Don't join my faith. Please. The scene changed. I was laying in bed, staring at her again. She smiled. "I'm with my parents again. I'm happy. I still miss you. It's your choice if you want to move on. If it's to another girl or to this life. I don't care what you do. I wish you wouldn't commit suicide. All that matters is I love you." The scene changed. I sat in the hospital, looking at myself, holding Brianna's hand, watching her die, nothing to do. The dead Brianna was at my side. "I'm making you watch yourself in this terrible moment to show you wrong." I stared at the past us. Brianna had died. I heard four words come out of my mouth: "What have I done?" The scene changed and I woke up. The ghost Brianna was right next to me. "You think you murdered me. You didn't. No one murdered me. I died on my own. Your life's up to you. Make it the best. I'll see you again." She dissappeared. I had a new point of view to life. I went back to sleep, to see Brianna in my dreams.
