“Another Part of Me” A poem by Total Drama Island’s Courtney;

“There’s another part of me
That you may not know.
Jumping, playing, running free
Love continues to grow.

You may think that I don’t care,
I hope you know you’re wrong.
Duncan, Duncan, please be fair,
Our love is true and strong.

I’m your Princess,
And I hope I always will be.
Even though, I do confess,
Love’s important to me.

Back then, I felt happiness
Every time we met.
Though now I don’t love you any less,
My love is mixed with regret.

But now it’s something different;
Which I don’t know about.
Every time, I feel resent;
With a flicker of doubt.

I will always love you;
You’re a fool if you don’t know.
I’ll always love you; strong and true,
My love continues to grow.

I do hope you forgive me;
For acting like I did.
I was unsure, now you see,
Your love was sad and rigid

But Duncan, now you know,
Love is complicated;
It always comes and goes.
My love has never faded.

What I’ve been trying to say
Is that nothing’s changed.
I feel special every day;
No more flames of rage.
I love you, Duncan, really I do,
You just have to realize.
Our love is always real and true;
Despite our hundreds of lies.

Forgive me, Duncan... it’s me. Your Princess... Nothing’s changed.”
