Another random poem I wrote. I tried to make it rhyme, but I didn’t feel like it.
Titled “If There Was A Chance”

If there is a chance
I would get away from here
Without a second glance
But, no.
The world is like this,
Small and dark and evil.
And it always will be.

It was because of you;
You whom I trusted;
You whom I loved.
It was all because of you…

In my heart, a fire blazes
Strong and wild,
It will never fade.
Never, ever… until…

But if there is a chance,
I would move away from this
Without a second glance.
Without you, my heart sways;
Longing for you;
Crying for you.

If I could have
One wish come true
It would be real
And strong and true
I’m starting to think
That maybe this was a mistake
Coming here and all…

Why would you do this?
It’s you whom I love;
You who I’ll miss.
My heart longs for you…
And it always will.

Would it be unfair
For me to think this way?
I wouldn’t exactly dare
Maybe another day?

If you’d been different
My world would’ve changed
I’m feeling deep pangs of resent
And silent flames of rage

And if there was a chance;
That I could sneak away
From this mess; I would; without another glance
But now… I feel so betrayed…

Why…?
