I felt like ranting about something...
And this has really been bugging me!
Out of 22 campers, they bring back 15 castmates.
Why? Why 15? Why not bring ALL of them back? Or at least, the fan favorites...
Here's something- the producers think they picked the fan favorites.
DJ is not even a fan favorite! Not only did he get enough screen time last season, but only a few people say he's their fav. It made sense to bring back Justin, he didn't even talk that much in TDI. But Ezekiel and Tyler never talk and were eliminated early! Duncan... Duncan had more than enough time on season 1!
Courtney and Heather were eliminated unfairly, so I kimda understand them coming back. And Heather was even funny this season, but they eliminated her! Courtney was much nicer in TDI... Why did they make her like this?
Izzy was hilarious, and she's eliminated. Then she comes back, is still hilarious, and is eliminated early again. What the f*ck?
Couples- OMG. Only DxC is left. The couples are part of what makes the show dramatic and yet GxB is eliminated off the bat, only half of LxT is in this season, GxT breaks up (ok, there's something interseting!) and Izzy keeps getting eliminated so there's no almost no IxO.And where's the conflict? On TDI, there was a GwenxTrentxCody love triangle (poor Cody). Here, the only relationship conflict is that Courtney thinks Duncan cheated on her with Gwen. And Gwen's gone, so chances of the rivalry getting bigger are slim to none.
On the Aftermath, it's the same thing over and over. Courtney, Katie, and Sadie are the only ones who had any relevant lines. (Cody and Eva barely talked) But since Courtney's gone from the TDA Commentators, either Katie and Sadie will talk more or they'll finally make other comentators speak...
It's not totally dramatic. The only thing fans are wondering (besides "will this person speak") are:
*Will GxB break up?
*Will Duncan and Courtney kiss again?
*What will Courtney do?
Last season, everyone was wondering:
*Will Geoff win over Bridgette?
*Will DxC happen?
*Will Cody get Gwen?
*Can Sadie stand it without Katie?
*What will Heather do?
*Will Lindsay and Beth find out Heather is evil?
*What about the conflict between Gwen and Heather?
*What will Izzy do?
And on and on and on....
TDA just isn't as funny or intresting as TDI without a bunch of charecters and a bunch of storylines going on in the background.
