Sequel to "TDI ancestry - The Rise Of Beatrice Thorn"
"You can't be serious!" yelled Damien from the corner of the "outer realm". "I'm sorry my child..but-".
"What do you mean sorry! I have to hide from my own sister! I thought she was dead!"
"She is dead...but death is not the end"
"You said that as soon as we put the curse on the old thorn house....everything would be okay!"
"Nothing is okay! Nothing will ever be okay! You're sister was evil! She's blaming her death on you!...........I want to keep you safe, my child...
"I know...But you said it yourself, you can't always be looking out for me like you have...what am I going to do? I can't stay here in the outer realm, that know one knows about!"
"Someone does.." said Beatrice, with a tear streaming down her face. "The problem is...as soon as someone outside of the Thorn family has seen this place......I can't let them leave!"
"You mean that you have someone here!"
"yes...Her name is Sophie....She is the sister of a young boy who Heather would pick on...Cody was his name"
The ground of the outer realm shook. The stars that twinkled all around it started to fall.
"What's happening?!" yelled Damien.
"Someone from the earth is trying to reach the outer realm from the outside!"
"A normal person could do this?"
"No, it must be a slayer"
"A slayer?"
"I slayer....have you ever heard of a dragon slayer? Well, these type of slayers kill creatures that could be a threat to the earth. They can teleport themselves into any realm, into any universe, anywhere! They have special abilities...That able them to kill these creatures."
"But you said that they only kill creatures that are a threat to the earth....are, are we a threat to the earth?"
"No, my child. The slayer must be here to retrieve Sophie..."
"Sophie?"
"The girl that I am keeping here. She is a time traveler....she is a life long friend to many slayers around this universe, one of them must have noticed that she was gone".
Then, a huge hole ripped through the sky of the outer realm. And someone jumped through it.
"Brandi!, what are you doing here. I thought you were scoping out the Omnicrai realm!" said Beatrice.
"My dear Grandmother, I must inform you that I am not here to see you. I am here to retrieve Sophie" said a girl in a dark red cape with a sword in her hand.
"Brandi, I know that Sophie is you're friend and all, but she has seen this realm! She will surly tell someone about it!".
The one called Brandi held up her sword and pointed it in the direction of Beatrice. "If you don't give me Sophie, I'll kill you!".
"Please don't act that way, I have with me your cousin!"
"Don't try to fool me! I have no cousin! besides that devil child, Heather which you've killed".
"Yes, yes you do!. His name is Damien he is right here!" Said Beatrice pointing to Damien.
"That is not my cousin. We could not be related at all!"
"And why is that?"
"I am a born slayer, I cross the universe and other universes hunting down the fiercest of creatures! How could this weak, powerless, mortal possibly be in the same family as me!".
"But-"
"I don't want to hear your foolish nonsense. Now, back away so I can get my friend".
"Don't you talk to me like that! I will not let you retrieve Sophie, she is not a Thorn, and will reveal the whereabouts of this place to other people!".
Brandi clutched her hands to fists. Damien knew that she had reached her boiling point.
"LISTEN YOU IRITABLE OLD HAG! YOU DO WHAT I SAY FOR NOW ON! I'VE DONE NOTHING BUT IGNORED YOU MESSING WITH THE EARTH, AND KILLING OFF PEOPLE BEFORE IT'S THEIR TIME TO GO. I'M A SLAYER AND I SHOULD BE KILLING YOU OFF RIGHT NOW FOR ALL OF THE TRECHORY! NOW BACK DOWN OR YOU'LL FEEL MY ESSCENTS SWORD GOING THROUGH YOUR STOMACH!".
Damien and Beatrice stared at Brandi. Then Damien looked at Beatrice, who was engulfed with rage.
"What did you just say to me! I don't need a slayer here to get in my way!".
Beatrice held up her hand. Long, sharp finger nails that only a witch would have. She looked up at the stars that were remaining, the ones that survived Brandi's arrival. She took her nails, and scratched into those stars. She scratched into a alter demmentential path way. And a sudden door way had opened up. It wasn't to earth, it wasn't to anywhere that Damien had ever seen. She grabbed Brandi by her cape, and threw her in. Damien looked at Brandi's esscents sword, that was still laying on the round. He picked it up, and looked at the jewel that was in it.
He put his hand over it. It was different shades of green, it looked like it should've been on one of Heather's expensive necklaces. The jewel started to glow under his hand. Beatrice looked over her shoulder at Damien.
"Damien! Don't touch that! You'll-".
A thick, green fog surrounded Damien. Beatrice strated running twards the fog. But by the time she got there, Damien was gone.
"What have I done?"........
