I opened my eyes and saw Duncan carrying me away."Duncan.....""Princess,go to sleep please.Get rest so you don't feel the pain."He said harshly."It's not that bad."I said groaning in pain trying to hide the sharp stinging in my arm and leg.I looked down to see the blood dripping down from my wounds.Duncan kissed my cheek and carried me to an ambulance that was now here."Don't be brave."He argued quietly.He took me to the ambulance,and the EMT put me on a gurney inside.Everyone was watching me,concerned.Except for Heather.Never Heather.The EMT people pushed Duncan away from the ambulance,they would not let him on with me."Bye Duncan.I'll be fine.Don't beat up Justin okay?"I called out to him hoarsely.He ran and jumped into the ambulance again,kissing me."I'm staying with you.""No.They won't let you on.Stay here and prepare for elimination.You need to convince everyone that you should stay.Concentrate on the game.""I'm staying here.I'm staying here with you,I won't leave your side.I sleepily."Oh,I'm sorry I woke you up......What happened?W-where am I?"I tried to get up,and I felt sharp pains in my legs.I screamed shortly.Duncan walked over to me and reassuringly kissed me."Justin shot you.Four times.Once in each arm,once in each leg.He knew that the gun he used had bullets,and he has been kicked off,along with Heather in elimination.Lindsay and Beth called to tell you that they're sorry they were tough on you about your leadership,and hope you come back and feel a little better soon.Harold and LeShawna also say they feel bad about what happened,and Chris is trying to get you not to sue,but I know you will anyway,so he's given you four immunities,since you'll be injured for awhile.The doctors said you were exceptionally lucky judging from where the bullets entered your arms and legs,and your only injuries were a broken left arm and leg otherwise,nothing else had gotten you seriously injured.Your right arm and leg had only had major tissue damage.You are very lucky.Very,very lucky."He kissed me over and over throughout talking."I can't believe that you survived that.And you also stayed awake and suffered through all of your pain awake.I am SO proud of you.Princess......you're stronger than I thought!"He exclaimed still kissing me."Thank you Duncan.Please,please,stop kissing me.You're smothering me."He got off,embarrassed and sad."Thank you for staying by my side like you promised."I said gratefully."You're welcome.It's the least I could do seeing that I didn't stop Justin.""There was no possible way you could have saved me.You did your duty in taking me to the hospital."Duncan just grumbled."How long have I been here?"I asked."A day."He replied."THAT LONG?!""Yeah,I was watching you sleep,but I got too tired and fell asleep.""You watched me?"I curiously asked."Um,no I mean uh-"Then the doctor came in and interrupted him."Well,I'm glad you woke up,because now you can be let out of the hospital and go back to your reality show.Good luck!"Duncan and I shook his hand and I left on crutches out into the street.Duncan called a cab,because unfortunately Chris would not provide parking."Um,Duncan?Is there an alternative?I can't pay.""I'll pay."Duncan said holding my arm as a supportive gesture.""No Duncan,I'll pay you back I just need-"The cab driver came up interrupting me.We got in,and were soon back at the film lot.Duncan paid,and walked with me toward the film lot."I hate these crutches.Well,at least it isn't a wheelchair huh?"I said brightening up.Then Duncan stopped walking and just stood silently behind me."Duncan?What's wrong?"I asked him worriedly.He looked up from the ground and stared sadly at me."It's just hard seeing you this way."He said catching up to me.I walked up to the girl's trailer."Thanks again Duncan.I love you."I said quietly at the doorway.Duncan just smirked and replied;"I know.I love you a lot too."I walked inside and was greeted by Lindsay,Beth,and LeShawna.Lindsay ran up to me and hugged me."Caroline!It's so great that you're getting better!"She screeched hugging me tightly."AHHHHHH!LINDSAY THAT HURTS!!"I screamed in pain."Oh.....sorry!"Lindsay said."It's okay."I replied quickly walking over to my bunk.I laid down and set my crutches on the side of the bed.LeShawna walked over to talk to me too."Sorry about what happened sugar.Hope you're feeling better soon."She said."Thank you LeShawna."And then I relaxed and went to bed.I needed a nap.
