The text message was unknown but I already knew who it was. It said HEY WANNA GET BRUNCH AT SHINE WITH MCCLEAN.
I quickly texted him back. My spirit is lifted not only because of the outdoor sunshine but Geoff still wants to see me. I can't mess this up. I glam myself up by putting eyeshadow, coconut lipgloss (Geoff likes coconuts), mascara, curl my hair and wear a glamorous blue dress with matching heels. I wear my diamond earrings that Geoff gave me for an anniversary present. I take my bag and walk out the door...
