“Hey sweetcheeks, how was your nap?” Tony asked as he sat down on the bed next to her.
“It was refreshing, just what I needed after today,” Ziva replied.
“Oh yes, how is our little own doing?” Tony asked as he rubbed his hand over Ziva’s belly, smiling as he did so.
“The doctor said it’s perfectly healthy, and we can find out the sex of the baby in two weeks if want,” Ziva said, smiling at Tony’s hands on her ever-growing baby bump.
Tony rolled over on his stomach and his face was right in front of Ziva’s bump.
“Well, little one, I don’t even know if you’re a boy or a girl, but I love you so much already. You’ve turned my world upside down, just like your mommy did so many years ago. I can’t wait until you enter this world because I’m going to spoil you to no end. You can do anything you want, a movie buff like daddy, or maybe a ballet dancer like mommy, but one thing’s for sure, we will always love you because you’re perfect to us already.”
Ziva had tears in her eyes when he was finished, and he reached up to capture her lips with a sweet, tender kiss. He pulled back and cupped her face with his hands, looking deep into her beautiful brown orbs.
“Another thing that’s for sure is that this baby is going to have the best mommy in the world, because she’s the most perfect woman in the world already.” Tony said as Ziva smiled and pulled him in for another kiss.
