Carry You Home-James Blunt

He is walking for over two hours.
-Damn! I'll never find her... -Tony says.
He see a man, first he looks just like another man, but there is something in his eyes that disturbs him.
Tony follows him, the man runs to a corner where there is an old swimming pool.
They are in a dark and wet room, the same dark and wet room where Ziva was. But she's not there, Tony doesn't see her. He only sees the man, with that evil eyes pointing his gun.
-Looking for someone?-The man asked.
-Where's she?!
-She? Who?
-Ziva. I know that you have her...
-Your little friend is not here.
In the other room, near to the pool, tied to a chair is Ziva. When she hear Tony's voice she doesn't know if she should laugh or if she should cry.
-TONY! -She shouts.
The man that is guarding her makes a rip with a knife above her navel.
Tony can hear that she's screaming, he can hear her crying softly. "Hell! What did this girl do to the world to be always in problems?" he thinks.
"Trouble is her only friend
And he's back again
Makes her body older
Than it really is"
He draws his weapon and points it to the man.
-Drop your weapon!
Tony slowly, he lows to put the gun down. How could he think about saving his life if he doesn't even know if Ziva is OK, that man may killed her when she shouted.
"She says it's high time she went away,
No one's got much to say in this town
Trouble is the only way is down
Down, down
As strong as you were,
Tender you go
I'm watching you breathing
For the last time
A song for your heart,
But when it is quiet,
I know what it means
And I'll carry you home
I'll carry you home"
In that second he only wishes that she could run away of all the problems, all the pain.
"If she had wings she would fly away,
And another day God will give her some
Trouble is the only way is down
Down, down..."
Like an impulse he pulls the trigger in that precise moment, and hits him in the foot.
When Ziva hears the gunshot her heart almost stops, but then she hears the man screaming and quites a little bit.
The man is in the floor writhing in pain. Tony shot him in the heart. Now it's time to save her, to carry she home.
The other man pushes Ziva into the water, and she drowns due to the weight of the chair.
Tony breaks down the door and shoots the other man.
Ziva tries to come to the surface, but she can't. She's staying with no air.
He picks the knife of the man and dives into the pool. He's going to save her. He has to. He needs to. He knows that she will survive, she's strong. He cuts the chords that tie her to the chair and pull her to the surface.
"As strong as you were,
Tender you go
I'm watching you breathing
For the last time
A song for your heart,
But when it is quiet,
I know what it means
And I'll carry you home
I'll carry you home"
She's bleeding. Tony cuts his shirt and halts the bleed. She's not breathing and she has no pulse.
He starts the cardiac massage. Then, his lips touch her.
-Breath, please breath! Ziva!!!
"And they were all born pretty in New York City tonight..."
Looking at her Tony thinks how life is ironic, how could a so strong girl needs to his help to make her heart beat. Yes, deep in her heart she's only an inocent little girl, who doesn't diserves what's happening.
"And someone's little girl was taken from the world tonight..."
He prepares to let her go, to stop to press her chest, there isn't a breath, there isn't a heart beat...
"Under the Stars and Stripes..."
When he finnaly stops, and a vast emptiness consumes him, for the first time in his life he knows how it feels like to have nothing.
-Why are you doing this to me Zi? Please... I need you. I do. -He whispers caressing her hair.
And then he hears a voice, a fragile voice:
-Tony...
-Ziva you're...alive. Thank you, god...
"As strong as you were,
Tender you go
I'm watching you breathing
For the last time"
He takes her in his arms. And walks to the street. There's so much traffic that the best is walk to the hospital.
She's slowly breathing against his chest, she's fragile, she's weak, but that doesn't matter, because she's alive, and until Tony's heart stops beating, he'll not give up on her.
"A song for your heart,
But when it is quiet,
I know what it means
And I'll carry you home
I'll carry you home,
I'll carry you home..."
