its too early 2 make a remake of the original. and it wouldn't sell because the original was amazing enough...it is one of the best selling movies ever recorded.

and they can't exactly do a sequeal so it should just stay the same

the titanic was an amazing movie and no sequel would ever be better so what would be the point?
maybe in like a few decades they could make a new one because by that time this movie will probably look really old and have really bad special effects but no matter what NO SEQUEL WILL EVER BE BETTER THAN THE FIRST

For the time frame of the movie, the graphics and everything are incredible. Today, they probably could be done a lot better, but, in my opinion, I dont think any remake of the movie could top that. This movie brought titanic to life in a whole new way.

No, no and no they shouldn't make new Titanic or sequel or whatever that deals with Jack and Rose. It will just ruin the original story. They will surly make remakes but not soon.

But...

I don't know have you heard about this (I haven't read all comments and I became fan of this spot just yesterday) but they are actually making 3D version of movie. I guess the same movie with same actors but just in 3D version. It will be nice to see Titanic at least one more time on big screen, but I'm not sure how are they going to pull this out :/

I'm making the next Titanic movie. The same characters, but new names:
Jack = Zack
Rose = Violet
Ruth = Beth
Cal = Robby

The rest, the same.
But it is going to be a little different: Zack and Violet meet in a different way, but many scenes are a little the same. I'm still writing the script so if anyone wants to be any of these characters or wants to share their opinion on me making a new one or wants more info, message me! :)
Or if you just want tickets in advance or want to come to the movie premire!

No!!! they cant make a new one. The actor were amazing in the orginal one. And it was a great movie so if they make a new one they would just be like the new halloween and nightmare on elm street (whiched sucked!!) You cant make a newer version of an amazing movie because it will look bad compared to the orginal one.

Remakes suck. Hollywood needs to use they're own imagination and make new movies. Not recreating ones that were already been made. Very rarely remakes can beat the original. But most of the time they don't. They flop.

No, it's not all true!!! Only the ship is true...and some of the characters...everything else was made up!!!!
It should be about Rose's grandchildren on Titanic that they cleaned off and put back together. And they were gonna put it in America but they were in Europe. So they sail to America.
