Did anyone else feel like smacking House across the head whem he awoke to her crying and instead of talking or comforting her, he just went back to sleep. It would have been totally sweet if he had got up, went over and hugged her.

No, I actually think that when House didn't comfort her, he was being very respectful. Thirteen clearly wanted to cry in private and he respected that. I think it was sweet of him not to interrupt her and potentially be an ass about it. Getting up and hugging her would be out of character for him, and I think it would have been out of Thirteen's character to accept a hug from him.
