(Based on a true story... Yeah. I know it's really short but I have a headache. lol Warning for dirtiness.)
House was driving to the hospital one early morning after a long night with his girlfriend. After Cuddy had left the hospital, he needed someone he could talk to. Wilson was too pushy but one unlikely person seemed to be there for him. House figured she was just trying to pay him back for coming to get her out of prison, but soon he realized she wanted more than to repay him.
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed a definite shift in the chemistry between House and Thirteen this season?
Epic Fail- He lets her into his personal world and lets her try his cooking. They have a natural conversation too, and she even makes a quip about oral sex with women.
Instant Karma- He stalks her at a coffe shop and she admits to having liked working for him. She also tells him that she's glad he's better. Later, he goes through an elaborate charade to hide the fact that he canceled her plane tickets.
**** Hey, Just wanted to say thanks for all the great feedback. I will try to keep posting. Sometimes I get blocks so bear with me, no pun intended. Enjoy!
Remy opened her eyes to find the sun drowning the room with its rays. Greg was still sound asleep next to her. He lay on his back with his mouth hanging open. Many loud snores emanated from her lover. She kissed his cheek lightly and stood up from the bed.
"I'll start the eggs." She whispered.
"Now, I just want to reiterate that I hate Christmas and all of the religous hypocrisy connected to it, but you are my woman now so...I put up a tree." He said as he opened the door to his apartment to reveal the lit up Christmas tree in the corner. Remy smiled brightly and turned to look at him.
"It's beautiful...but you didn't have to. This is your place."
House bit his lip and reached out for her hand. She took his hand tightly with in her own and followed him to the sofa.
"This has to be the most comfortable bed I've ever laid on." House said as he spread his arms wide. Remy lay down next to him and joined him in staring at the ceiling.
"I think we should order in tonight. I'm too tired to cook and from the way your eyes are drooping you are too." She said as she dragged his arm around her.
"I'll call the lodge to send us food." House said as he rubbed her arm. He leaned over and grabbed the phone and dialed.
"Yeah, this is cabin 23. We'd like to order some dinner.(He looked to her for any ideas but she shrugged in indifference mouthing to...
"Stay over." She said from her side of the bed. He was sitting on the end about to put on his jacket.
"Wilson will wonder."
"So, make a crack about a hooker or a strip club to throw him off." She said as she leaned forward and stroked his back.
He turned his face to look at her.
"Are you falling for me?" He asked in a serious tone.
She looked intently in to his blue eyes and smiled.
He relaxed his back muscles at the admission.
"Okay... scoot over."
"I'm coming!" Thirteen yelled as she slowly made her way to the door.
"House? What are you doing here?"
"I know you're on maternity leave and are due in a few weeks so I thought I'd stop by..."
"I'm okay. Really...I'm not alone. My Dad and Step-mom are coming in to town tomorrow to help me."
House limped to the couch and sat down.
"Has Foreman been by?"
"Yeah, he comes by at least once a day to see if I need anything...He brought these snacks for me." She said pointing to a basket filled with popcorn, madeline's,fruit, crackers, and...
"You should date Wilson." House said as he joined Thirteen at the conference table. She looked up from the file.
"Because he needs to date again, and you could use some caring father figure for the growing parasite." He said as he gestured to her slightly protruding belly.
"I'm not attracted to Wilson...Anyway, he already lost one girlfriend, and he doesn't need to go down that road again..."
"Then go out with Chase. He and Cameron are sort of over."
"They are separated and will probably get back together any day now. Besides, I wouldn't hurt Eric...
"If I hadn't been the heartless bastard you love to hate would you have been remotely attracted to me?" House asked as he propped his feet on top of his desk. Thirteen pulled on her coat and picked up her purse.
"Why does it matter? Do all your female employees have to have a crush on you?"
"No. But I really don't want Taub undressing me with his eyes."
She smirked at the mental picture he conjured.
"Why are you suddenly bringing this up?"
House groaned in annoyance and rubbed his beard.
