The second season of the science fiction television series The X-Files commenced airing on Fox Broadcasting Company (Fox) in the United States on September 16, 1994, concluded on the same channel on May 19, 1995, and contained 25 episodes.

Production

The season premiere was re-written for David Duchovny—his version of "Beyond the Sea"—that would make Mulder question himself and his beliefs. Instead of Puerto Rico, the original location was supposed to be Moscow, Russia. Series creator Chris Carter wanted to film the episode there, but was not able to secure arrangements. The discrepancies...

The first season of the science fiction television series The X-Files commenced airing on Fox Broadcasting Company (Fox) in the United States on September 10, 1993, concluded on the same channel on May 13, 1994, and contained 24 episodes. In the first two seasons, executive producer Carter and co-executive producers Morgan and Wong, along with other writers, helped to define the show's fledgling story arc. The "mythology", as the producers called it, was initially established as a government plot to cover up anything pertaining to the existence of extraterrestrial life, and Mulder's attempts...

I know what you're thinking: how can you pick just ten? And the truth is, you can't. There are just too many good ones. But I thought I'd give it a try anyway.

For me, good Mulder/Scully moments don't necessarily have to be hugs or kisses (although God knows I love the shippy scenes just as much as anyone else!). They can be touches, looks, words...anything, really, that demonstrates the love these two characters have for one another.

So without further ado, let's begin!

10. "Anasazi" - A sick Mulder goes to Scully's apartment and basically collapses onto Scully, who puts him to bed.

This is one...

I wrote this little piece for Renegades of the FBI forum about a year ago, but it still is my opinion :) Originally it had a bit more colorful language, but I replaced all the F words with others ;)

I was toying with an idea for his post for a while now. It came to me after watching a scene from episode “3” All those years ago, when I watched the episode for the first time, I hated it. But it’s been a while since then. I grew up, started thinking a little different. Few weeks ago I watched a music video on youtube about David Duchovny, and there was the “3”...

A/N. This is my very first fan fiction, so be gentle, okay? It was written for a personal challenge for House of David Duchovny forum.

I want to thank my beta, Smirkity for willingly reading and correcting my mistakes. English is not my firts language, but I tried my best.

Disclaimer: Mulder and Scully don't belong to me and I don't get any money from this. Mulder and Scully belong to CC and company and he gets all the money from this. But at least with me, they have a little fun :)

Mulder sat in his office leaning back on his chair, his eyes closed. His thoughts were on Scully, just like they...

Ok, I did not write this myself, and have been unable to find out who did (if you know, please let me know!) but I have a feeling it was a group effort. I remembered reading these YEARS ago - and laughing my ass off - and thought I'd look them to share with you. Enjoy!

Q: Why did the chicken cross the road?

A:

Fox Mulder: No government agency has jurisdiction over the chicken. The chicken is out there, Scully, and we will find it.

Dana Scully: There is a logical, scientific explanation for the chicken crossing the road. We need more evidence.

Walter Skinner: <teeth clenched> You've got 24...

Dear Chris Carter,
I just wanted to give you a full report on your latest X-Files movie: Great cop story, weak X-File. I assume agents Doggett & Reyes were busy with more important things that the FBI didn't find them for this case. You had 6 years to come up with this storyline? And whose idea was it to cast Xzibit in this? We haven't seen acting like that since Mr. T was in the A Team! Oh, and that slam on President Bush and J. Edgar Hoover. I'll make you a deal: you and Gillian and David keep us safe from little green alien invaders and let real men protect us from the scum that inhabit this Earth! As I see it you have only one more chance to produce and write an X-File that we fans can really enjoy or you are going to have to put this puppy to bed. For good! Don't get me wrong. Me and the one other person in the theater really enjoyed the show. It's just maybe you can give X3 a little more thought!!!

To say that I was disappointed in the latest X Files movie would be an under statement. However, I will say that it was great to see Mulder and Scully again... But, the bittersweet sense that I was handed a plateful of empty promises looms in my mind. This movie was a far cry from what it should have and could have been! (And I respect those who loved it...this is not a film bashing rant!)

After much deliberation with myself and my partner, also a huge fan, I was thinking that perhaps C Carter needs some inspiration from people who actually care about these characters? And perhaps some semblance...

About a month ago, my friend Joel and I decided we were going to rent and watch all nine seasons of The X-Files in preparation for the second movie, which comes out this Friday, July 25th.

Since The X-Files came out while I was in college, and since I spent most of my college career in class, at parties, or drunk and writing sad poems about my failed relationships, I didn’t have time to watch TV and didn’t appreciate the show’s brilliance until the late 90s, when I was living in Paris. Unbeknownst to me my father, a person I’d be hard-pressed to describe as “culturally savvy” (we’re...

Dean Haglund (image credit: www.deanhaglund.com)

UFOs, Aliens, Ghosts, Shadow People, and other paranormal investigations were the focus of the popular series, The X-Files. In a recent interview with Dean Haglund, who played the character Richard “Ringo” Langly, he shared with me that there may be more truth to the show than most believe.

Haglund’s character, Ringo, was part of a hacker/conspiracy group called the Lone Gunmen. They were originally only going to be part of one episode. However, the reaction by fans in the X-Files online newsgroups was overwhelming, so they became a permanent...
