A brunette haired fairy cried in her room as the comments rolled in like a tidal wave. She was hurting and realized they were never her friends in the first placed. They had changed into Killer bees like the Queen Bee she once was. Now she cried in her room avoiding the rest of the world. She was ruined, but she told herself she deserved it. When the Winx tried comforting her, she told them the truth about the plans she had created with them and would take full blame if they never forgive her. Instead of yelling at her, they hugged her. They all told her they were waiting for her to come clean because that’s when they knew she had changed for the better and for good. Even as tears still rolled down her face, she smiled because she had a group of five true friends that would never leave her because they saw the best in her. She might not be in control of the school anymore, but she was in control of her life. She learned many friends will betray you in life, but the ones that stick around through the pain and tears are the ones you can count on. Power, popularity, perfection, and gossip can change character, but they will never change the person underneath because it will always reveal your true colors, and where you belong after the storm clouds have past.
