The Scene

All the winx were out of their Sirenix. and were with the specialists running down the emergency surgery hallway of the hospital. They were all worried about her and if she would make it. Along the way they had found Miele who stayed with them. They were about to reach the point where they weren’t allowed to enter. So they all stopped and watched her go through the double doors, and started praying she’d be okay. Miele and Helia in the most tears.

Three and a half hours later…
Everyone except Helia and Miele had a case of heavy eyelids and were on the verge of falling asleep until they heard the double doors open. The surgeons walked out while taking their gloves and masks off and tossing them in the trash. They walked towards the group who were standing ready for the news.
“Is she okay?” Stella asked.
“Princess Flora made it through the surgery.” He said while nodding with a small smile on his face.
“Yay!” They all cheered while hugging each other and others jumping up and down clapping.
“We want to keep her here for a couple more hours just to make sure it stays that way and so she can get used to some stuff. She will have to use crutches and an ice machine and other things so her leg heals quickly and properly. Luckily, the bullet missed her bone and arteries and big things like that. She was extremely lucky in this case.” The surgeon said.
“Indeed she was.” Someone said from behind them. They turned and saw Flora and Miele’s biological parents and adoptive parents.
“Mom, dad!” Miele yelled while running to hug them.
“I thought you guys were hurt.” She said.
“No, we went to Melody to talk to someone and when Helia texted us and told us what happened we rushed over right away.” Queen Renee said.
“If you want you could wait here until 8:00 p.m to take her, by then she should be ready, or you can come back at 8:oo p.m. Totally up to you.” The surgeon said.
“We’ll stay.” The King said.
“As will we.” The winx and specialists said.
The surgeon nodded.
“See you in a few hours then.” He said. They walked back in the double doored room.
They all sat back down and waited for Flora to come out of the room.

7:57 p.m

The double doors opened. There were two surgeons that held the doors open so Flora could get out. All of the winx, specialists, and parents stood up. They surgeons opened up the last pair of doors and she came out.
“Hi guys.” Flora said while looking at them.
“Hey.” They said back.
“Okay she has crutches and I had my assistant take an ice machine and other things to Ms. Faragonda. For her recovery and she said she would put it in your dorm.”
“Okay, thank you.” The King said.
“Bye.” They all said.
“Good bye have a safe trip.” The surgeon said then walked away.

They all decided to go out to dinner together before the guys went back to Red Fountain and the winx went back to Alfea. They all talked with each other. Brandon told some jokes that made everyone laugh.

Flora’s POV

I’m happy to be with all of my friends and family right now, and seeing them all happy. Helia is sitting at my left and I’m on the end just in case I need to get up for anything. My adoptive parents and my biological parents are across from me and the rest of the winx and Specialists are sitting together at the end. Helia leans over and kisses me on the cheek. The whole group ‘Awwws’ and I blush.
“You were very brave today Flora, you need a kiss right now.” He says and gives me another.
“Thank you my handsome Helia.” I say before giving him one back. The whole group giggles.
I stick my tongue out at them.
It was good to be back with them, it was like we forgot what had happened in the last 2 days. And that’s exactly what I wanted.

1 year later…

“Please applaud Princess Flora and Princess Miele and recognize them as your princesses of Lynphea!” The announcer yelled.
We waved our hands at the top of the staircase and the ballroom was filled with clapping.
“You may carry on ladies.” He said to us.
We nodded and then we walked down the stairs. It was nice that my leg was healed enough for me to walk, run, and do all the things I couldn’t do with crutches. I walked over to the winx and specialists and we all hugged.
“Well how is the princess feeling?” Stella asked.
“She feels great.” I said.
“That’s Fantastic.” Bloom said.

No POV

“May I have this dance?” The king asked.
“Of course my father can dance with me.” Flora replied while walking towards the center of the room. They started dancing and all the people watched.
“Alright Helia, you know what to do after they’re finished right?” Stella asked.
“Yup.”
“Me and Bloom will be outside doing fireworks, remember the signal is to drop the flower we gave you.” Stella continued.
“I’ll play the music when I see the doors open.” Musa said.
“I got it.”
“And try to make it as romantic as possible, okay?”
“You guys, I’m not going to mess this up.” Helia said.
“Yea, he won’t he’s been pretending I was Flora so he wouldn’t mess up. He’s got it.” Brandon said.
The group laughed.
About 3 minutes later the dance ended and Flora walked back over to them.
Bloom gently nodded to Helia.
“You were so beautiful out there Flora.”
“Thank you.” Flora said while kissing him on the lips.
“Flora, do you want to go out on the balcony? It’s hot in here.” Helia asked.
“Yea, sure. es muy caliente.” Flora responded.
“Me no habla espanol.” Helia said back.
“Oh yea, maybe I could teach you how to speak spanish sometime, it’s not that hard. That sentence you just said was actually very good.”
Helia laughed.
“That’d be great.” He said while walking with her up the stairs.
Helia opened the doors when Flora walked out and Helia walked out behind her and closed the door.
“It’s beautiful out here.” Flora said while looking at the sky.
“It sure is but not as beautiful as you.” Helia said while grabbing her hand. She looked at him.
“Oh stop it.” She said. She walked over to the railing and leaned over it l still looking at the sky.
While she was looking at the sky, Helia picked up a pink rose and put it in her hair.
She leaned her head on his shoulder. She put his arm around her neck.
“I love nights where you can relax with the one you love most.” Flora said while looking at Helia. He smiled. She looked back at the sky.
He reached in his pocket and pulled out the flower Stella and Bloom gave him as the signal.
“I still remember 4 years ago when we met.” Flora said.
Helia dropped the flower.
“Oh do you?” He asked.
“Of course! At Red Fountain and Brandon introduced us to you.”
“Oh yea, when I was drawing the doves alone in the bleachers.” He said.
“Uh huh, and later that day I remember getting a self-portrait folded into a paper airplane.”
“Hmmm I wonder who did that.” He laughed.
“Stop playing!” She said.
While unwrapping his arm and looking at him.
“I have a question Flora.”
“Mmhmm.” Flora nodded.
“After 4 years I’ve finally gotten the courage to ask this,”
He reached in his pocket and pulled something out. Flora didn’t see it so she was confused.
Helia got down on one knee.
“Flora, will you make me the happiest man in the world by taking by hand in marriage?” He asked while opening the box revealing a beautiful ring.
Flora gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. It took her a few seconds to get the words,
“Yes, of course I will!” Out of her mouth and hugged him.
He stood up and slid the ring on her finger then they kissed. And right on time the fireworks went off in the sky.
“I love you Flora.”
“I love you too Helia.”
