Sorry it's been a long time since I have updated this story, so here's chapter 24 and I think this story has like maybe some wheres in the 5 to 10 range left for chapters. So thanks everyone for the support with this story and Betrayal
The next day everyone was relaxed but on edge at the same time knowing their peace would come to an end soon. As every minute passed on the tension grew thicker, by eleven in the morning someone could cut right through the tension. Each Winx and Spouse kept their cool on the outside, but on the inside each was preparing themselves for any goodbyes. After an hour, something happened. The girls quickly transformed into their newly earned wings while the guys grabbed their weapons.
The darkness swirled in twisters in nearby forests. The own and palace walls began to shake with the ground. The dust and dirt crept in from all side of the planet creeping in under doors and in vents. Wings fluttered with fury when swords shook in the hands of heroes. The same thought crept through each mind ”I am going to fight with all I got even if means I have to say goodbye.” that’s when hands were held and tears made their way down their faces. As each girl took her place in the air a strong wind blew them all back against the wall and down to the ground. Screams were heard with the first attack while a voice just cackled. As the former specialists ran through the dust that swirled to the girls, the winds blew faster and the ground shook more violently. The first tears were shed when the blow to the concrete wall killed off one of the girls. Garrett never cried so much in his life, but the loss of his love fuel the anger he needed to continue on with The War that officially began.
