Hello I'm the Winx-Critic. I remember it so you don't have to! So, here we are. The beginning of Sirenix...oh boy. Let's just hope that this is actually a decent plot.

The episode starts off with a flashback as to what happened to Sky and then we go into the room of the Winx where Bloom is whining about his condition. Honestly, this scene is something I would expect but Stella saying that every single fucking fairy in the school is there to support her is just beyond me. How is this fair? Layla's freaking fiancé is in a coma and we hardly talk about him! Why the fuck is Bloom's situation to special? Oh wait, I forgot: she's Bloom, everything is more exaggerated and special for her.

Before they leave, Stella gives them all new outfits and a completely random scene then ensues of Stella daydreaming to become a fashion designer. I know it's supposed to be "funny" or something like that, but it isn't and that's what bothers me with these kind of scenes. They're so annoying. I don't care about this. Get back to the plot, please.

After this nonsense, we see Icy calling out for Tritannus. He soon appears and she explains what happened. This scene pissed me off. For one, Icy is acting vainly and like an annoying brat. Second, she's blaming her sisters for letting the Winx "escape"—when, like Stormy says, "She was the first one out the door when Faragonda appeared." Talk about a bitch.

Back at Alfea, Bloom goes to visit Sky in the infirmary. She starts talking to him but soon Flora walks in with Krystal. She tries to heal Sky and bring his memories back, but it turns out that he's put a wall up in his mind. Why? Because he doesn't want to remember that he lost the stupid pendant. So, you're honestly going to remain oblivious to your life just because you lost a necklace? Yep, that's completely considerate towards your family and friends. So, after Krystal fails, Bloom takes Sky out for a walk and shows him pictures to try and jolt his memory, but this doesn't work and he leaves in an angry annoying rage.

After this crap, we are now in Andros where we see Ligea and Nereus (Trailed by Phylla) make their way through the ocean to try and find Tritannus. They are suddenly ambushed by the mutant monsters and Tritannus then appears, Nereus trying to talk some sense into him. This doesn't work because he's a raging psycho, and Tritannus turns his brother into a mutant. He asks Ligea what she knows about Sirenix and she explains that it's very ancient and Daphne is the last fairy to receive it in a long time. For some reason, the whiny brat isn't satisfied with this answer and turns Ligea into a monster too. I don't see why he would do this. Sure, he hated his brother but I don't think he hates his mother. She's loved and cared for him. And I think it would make more sense to use her power and relationship with Neptune to his advantage. He could have used his powers to hypnotize her and make Ligea do some dirty work and maybe even turn against her own husband. (Since Tritannus wants "revenge" against his father so badly)

Back at Alfea, Tecna finally figures out how she can narrow down her search to find the Sirenix book. But not before the Trix have something to say about her geeky ways! Darcy places a dark spell on her phone, Tecna grabbing it and then leading the Winx back to the archives. There, she uses this technology to find the book. And, oh my lord, Stella was so annoying. "omg too technical!" Bitch you are 22 years old, and love to gossip and talk, so I'm pretty sure that you should know what "loading" and "download" means. Don't show off that dumb blond stereotype. That's a big no-no.

When the book appears, Tecna opens it and an angry ominous voice soon fills the room, Tecna then transforming into...a robot. Okay, I have to give them credit for the originality but this is pretty random. So, she's not a "killer robot", which you would expect since this is a dark spell, she's just a robot. She keeps jumping around all over the place looking for information on Sirenix. The Winx transform and try to reverse the spell by focusing energy on the book, which, of course, does nothing. Layla notices that it's actually her phone that is doing this and they set out to try and grab it. While they try and get her, Tecna continues to blast them with lasers from her eyes. As they miss, they hit books and start fires...no one really giving a shit. Uh, hello! You're in a library. Fire + paper = NOT GOOD. Why isn't anyone putting it out?!

Despite that slight stupidity, I have to admit that all the magical books each doing something (Blasting snow, water, wind) was pretty cool. But the way the Winx just stood there and barely tried to move, did get on my nerves. Especially with the snow. Bloom, you're the fairy of fire; put a goddamn shield up! When the water came, half of them just stood there and never even attempted to leave the ground. "oh look there is a wall of water coming towards me. I'm going to do the only logical thing and stand right under it."

Once they're all out, and all the books have been shut, Bloom blasts the phone with a spell and Tecna returns back to normal. She resumes using her phone and immediately find the Sirenix book. Bloom warns them dramatically, saying that once they open this, they're adventure will begin and they cannot stop it. Yeah okay. We then see the Trix—who are still standing over that lake? Do you really have nothing better to do? Icy calls Tritannus and he appears, informing them that Daphne was the last fairy to acquire Sirenix, Icy somehow knowing exactly where to find her.

This episode was okay. The stupid subplot with Sky loosing his memory is not interesting to me at all, and how everyone gives their sympathy towards Bloom is just—/shoots the wall/ The archive scene with Tecna being a robot and the magical books was cool, but Tritannus turning Ligea into a monster? Eh no. I did not like that at all. It was stupid. And pointless.

Well, I'm the Winx-Critic. I remember it so you don't have to! And, give me hope that there isn't going to be pointless drama between Daphne and the Trix...I just cannot handle that.
