The Winx Club Article: Someone made a 7 year old cry

First off I'm not a fan but after watching the show i respect it cause of it values. Second, I'm writing this cause of an article that someone posted about season 6. The article was read to her by a 16 year old cousin (both a major fans but they are not allowed to have a fanpop account). Fourth, the article made her cry. Fifth, I'm using the information that made her cry.
So i dont know who wrote the article but it stated about the plot and transformation of season 6. She was excited about the winx going to Tenca's home world and getting a cyber type transformation. What made her cry was the fact that the person who wrote the article in question said something about how Nick made winx club suck and that season 6 will be the worst season ever. Tenca's character will be ruined and that thete will be no point in ever watching winx club anymore.
It is true that Nick did change winx club alot. They turned seasons 1&2 into 4 one hour specials. (Btw i watched seasons 1-3). The fact remains that even though Nick upped the graphics and changed the theme song/transformation songs. They got the attention of a new younger generation than from when winx club first came about. Its true that.Nick may have screwed up, but if we want winx club to stay alive we may have to avcept change.
There are many differences between books and movies. Even though they change things and tweek the plot. We are still fans. The same thing goes with bringing back a tv series that was made. I dont know when Winx Club came out but i believe it touched the hearts of many of all you fans. This 7 year old said that Winx Club inspired her to be brave and stand up for what she believes in. It also got her to wonder about what books she could about faires, mermaids, and magic.
So now the questions i have for you is this. What does being a fan really mean to you? Can you really bad mouth a show that touched your heart just because its a remake? Would you say "The winx club sucks and is not worth watching" to someone younger than you?
I hate to see my daycare kids cry and as i said im not a fan but i respect what the show. So you can accept that Nick made winx club suck but the fact remains that so many now have the magic in their life and can believe that maybe, just maybe, magic is all around us.

zanhar1 Being a fan means to me that you like the show; it doesn't matter whom your favorite character is, or your least favorite or how many seasons you watched/didn't watch if you like it your a fan. Can you bad mouth a remake? In my opinion, yes. I hate the remake with a passion. I'm one of those people who bad mouth season 5 but I absolutely adore the first 3 seasons. To be truly honest I dob't even think I want a season 6. Would I say so to a little kid. No, not unless they asked for my opinion. In which case I would state it but not tell them not to watch it or anything.

LilyBeanie04 that is true, magic could be all around us. I don't think nick made winx club bad. they did turn season 2 into a 1 hour special, which does not make any since. they could have made it a season, I would have liked that very much. you can make a bad mouth remark, in my opinion. you can't tell people to not watch winx club, if your giving a suggestion, yes. I do want a season 6 though.

camirite Unfortunately, this does not make me want to silence my own opinion. Nick ruined Winx Club for me, and I will gladly rant about it to anyone who will listen. Even on the internet. Would I say it to a child? No, not intentionally. Not to their faces. But if they found an article or something that I wrote about how I hated the new seasons;; Sorry, but it's not my fault. Seven-year-olds really shouldn't be on the internet in the first place. However telling a person that the Nick Winx Club isn't worth watching and that they shouldn't watch it, I wouldn't say that. Live and let live--it really doesn't matter to me if they watch the Nick version or the original Italian version. By the end of the day, I still hate the new Winx Club but if they love it, then that's cool by me.

Princess-Flora I agree that being a fan that no matter what happens to the show we will always love from the first time we saw the previews for a show about fairies that would take place between mew mew power and do re mi on Saturdays at 7 a.m. and we all cried when we thought it was over when the 26th episode of season 3 in 2007 then the first movie came out and I remember watching the 2 movies and fourth season on youtube when the show went between 4kids, cw4kids, cartoon network and then after it came to Nickelodeon sure they changed it and some things make me upset but I will always love the show and watch it because it makes me remember the times when I was 6 years old, and had the sing sensational and smile because your dream was being a fairy with cool powers and t his show we know and love called WInx Club was the show that made me believe and learn to trust with your heart and go for what you want. Sure I am not thrilled with seasons 1 and 2 made into 4 one hour specials and them changing the show i love; but I still love the show because Winx Club is a part of me and I will stick by it no matter what happens whether it means watching old DVDs of the show, watching the new version, or sit in a chair for an entire weekend and watch the old version on youtube; because that is what a fan is all about.

Dragonempress08 Camirite. I do have to agree with you that seven year old should not be on the internet and i respect your opinions. I have herd a lot about how season 5 sucks and nicks version in general just sucks. It does not bother me one bit if you bad mouth season 5 but leave the orginal 3 seasons alone. As Zanhar1 siad that she adores the first 3 and i agree with that. Lilybeanie04 says she wants a season 6. I guess when the information, true information, comes out. Lets hope that it is better than 5 and has a better plot. Princess-Flora your article just tells me that you completly adore winx club and will fallow it to the end. Thanks for the comments.

camirite Mew Mew Power/Tokyo Mew Mew and Do-Re-Me are magical girl animes. Like Winx Club, I guess.

zanhar1 @camirite Exactly, I wouldn't do it intentionally either but if they came across it then it isn't my fault especially if they kept reading despite it all. I usually put 'Do not read if you like ___' warnings, not my fault if they are ignored. Sort of like 8 year olds who cry about seeing cuss words on YouTube; of all sites that one is the worst for cussing. 8 year olds shouldn't even be on social networking sites... Sorry for the off topic rant.

Dragonempress08 I love sailor moon but not sure about the remake set to come out in fall off topic. @zanhar1 i agee with you that 8 yearolds should not be social networking sires. They are more for high schoolers, ages 13+.

zanhar1 Exactly because 9/10 there will be cussing and what not.

Dragonempress08 Then thhe parents complain to addminstration who owns the site and then changes come that makes it hard to voice an oppion or to backtalk some for posted something bad about what you like. Make any sense?

Tecna’s POV

It was Stella holding the sword to Musa’s throat. But I don’t get it. We made it back to resent time didn't we? Then we should be back in my room. Or at least not have anyone trying to attack us anymore.
“You guys are hilarious!” She yells while laughing and taking the sword away.
Musa and I exchange looks.
“Pardon me?” I ask.
“You had the most serious faces, like I was actually going to kill you!” She explained.

Musa and Tecna quickly flew to the sliding glass doors. Making sure to keep their legs up to avoid being grabbed or spit on them.
