Hey Guys! I really have enjoyed writing this story! It’s so much more fun then writing another one that I’m working on right now. I have like four characters that have the same power basically. Stars. Yes, everyone words it differently but basically those four people have the same power. Megan, Sapphire, Kristina, and Glitter all have the powers of the stars which is kind of hard to write about. If you can (I’m not saying that you have to) but if you can, please change their power, if you can’t (which is totally acceptable) I will work around it. And I have 23 characters, plus ‘guest stars’ so please don’t be mad if you’re character doesn’t have a huge part. I will try to make it all equal.
Charlotte’s Point of View
We were sitting awkwardly with Kristina’s old friends. I picked absent mindedly at something that looked like Macaroni and Cheese but I couldn’t be sure. I didn’t dare out it in my mouth. I half listened to the conversation that was taking place between Kristina and her old friends. “So, why aren’t you still at your fancy boarding school?” questioned a girl with a high pitched voice. She sounded like someone I could easily have been friends with.
“Wait, let me answer that, they kicked you out didn’t they?” A male asked. His voice kind of reminded me of one of my brother’s friends. His comment earned laughs from almost everyone. I continued to look down pushing my food from side to side.
“That’s not true!” Kristina defended herself but was laughing too. I sighed looking to my side to see a distracted Violet.
I nudged her and asked, or rather whispered, “How was your first day?” She looked up and shrugged and looked side to side before covering her mouth with her hand and whispering in my ear.
“I think I found one of the Earth Fairies.” She said her voice was so low it was barely audible.
“Really?!” I squealed rather loudly. I glanced around nervously to find everyone looking at me. I smiled unsurely and slowly everyone went back to eating. I sighed and leaned over to my left and whispered to Lilly. “Violet might have found an Earth Fairy.” I whispered smiling. Her eyes widened.
“Well, let’s go get Jasmine!” She said smiling. We stood up and I gestured for Kristina and Julie to follow.
“Excuse us for one minute please.” Kristina said. I tapped on James’ shoulder and whispered.
“Follow us.” He looked at me strangely, but reluctantly pushed away from the table along with the other confused boys. As we walked away Kristina’s old friends looked after us confused.
Violet’s Point of View
I felt bad for pulling everyone away from the table and lunch, but I knew this was important. As we made our way out of the cafeteria, I realized that I had no idea where Jasmine was. “Wait you guys,” I said and everyone stopped to turn around and look at me. “Does anyone even know where Jasmine is?” I asked and everyone looked back and forth between each other. They all gave a small head shake no. I sighed and shifted my weight to the other side.
“What is this even about?” Kristina asked looking confused.
“I think I found one of the Earth Fairies.” I said. This caused everyone to smile. I nodded. “But I was thinking, maybe we should talk about this after school.” I said. The others nodded in agreement. We re-renter the cafeteria, as we sat back down at the table Nick asked “What was that about?” He was mainly asking it to Kristina and he kind of whispered it, but I could still hear it.
“Nothing,” Kristina said with a sigh. Nick didn’t seem satisfied but before he could question it further the bell rang dismissing us to our next class. “Well, see you later. It was great catching up!” Kristina called over her shoulder as we walked away to our next classes. I stopped at my locker and dialed in my new combination. Earth schools were different. I had never had a locker before. I pulled open the door and grabbed my English text book. English, it was such a weird name for a subject. I already knew English after all. I sighed and pulled out my schedule. English Room 310 I turned the corner and bumped into someone.
“I’m so sorry!” We called at the same time. I looked up to see Jasmine. “Jasmine!” I said with a smile. She reached out her hand, which I gladly took, and pulled me to my feet. “Thanks,” I said and she nodded. I glanced at the clock, “I got to get to class, and I’ll see you later.” I said.
“Yea, hey I heard of this really cool place we can stay!” Jasmine called to me. I turned around a smiled and nodded. I rushed upstairs and ran into the classroom just before thee bell rang.
Kristina’s Point of View
By the time school ended I was tired. I had forgotten how boring school was. When I reached my locker I turned the dial and pulled open my locker. I pulled out my black backpack. I stuffed my books in it and zipped it up. I put it on the floor and grabbed my jacket and pulled it on. I pulled my backpack over one shoulder. I shut the door and was taken back to find two people standing there. “Oh hey you guys you scared me.” I said staring at two of my old friends.
“You haven’t been acting like yourself lately.” Clara accused. I shrugged and caught sight of Jasmine. “It’s like you’ve been hiding something from us.” She continued. I forced a smile.
“Why would you think that?” I asked. I could see Jasmine still and she was now joined by Violet and Charlotte. I sighed and crossed my arms over my chest. I felt like I was being interrogated.
“You just seem different.” Hope said looking a little sad. I felt bad for her. I wish things were the way that they had been a couple of months ago, but they couldn’t. After Valtor and the ship crashing and the whole fight with Logan, I couldn’t keep think of things the way I wanted to.
“I’m sorry.” I sighed. They looked unconvinced. I truly was sorry. I looked at them apologetically when Julie traveled over to me.
“Hey Kristina!” She said with a smile. I smiled back. I glanced awkwardly at Hope and Clara. I sighed. “Well, um, we’re going to miss the bus if we don’t hurry.” Julie said rocking uncomfortably.
“Tell the others I’ll be there in a minute.” I said and she left quickly. Clara and Hope looked at me like I had done something terribly.
“Are you coming to the Rocky Jam after school today like we did every Friday last year?” Clara asked but it looked like she already knew the answer to that. Before I could answer Jack came to my side throwing his arm over my shoulder.
“Hey!” He said with a large smile. I stood there, uncomfortable, and glanced over Clara’s shoulder and saw them all staring at me looking impatient.
“Ya, totally.” I said, but mostly I was trying to be able to leave. Clara, Jack and Hope smiled. “But seriously, if I don’t leave, like right now, I’m going to miss to bus, and I don’t really feel like walking home.” I said slipping out of Jack’s grip and waving good-bye to them. I turned around and half – ran half- walked to everyone else.
Jasmine Point of View
I smiled when I saw Kristina finally join us. We turned and ran to catch the bus. When we stepped on we walked all the way to the back. I slide into a seat next to Kristina. The bus ride was bumping. On about the third stop I stood up. “Come on you guys, this is our stop.” I said smiling. They looked t me unsurely. We were in down town of New York. “Come on.” I encouraged. We shuffled out of the bus and stood in front of a large building. I pulled out the pamphlet and looked back and forth between it. “This is it.” I said stuffing the paper back into my pocket. I lead the group of 23 into the large building. “Hi,” I said stepping up to the front desk, “We want the Complex Apartment.” I said looking at him. He looked doubtfully at us.
“I doubt you can afford it.” He said and went back to typing.
“Try us.” I said glaring at him.
“The down payment is 12,000 dollars with a 5000 dollar month rent.” He said and didn’t look up. I thought about it. We had 20,000 dollars right now from Ms. Faragonda. We really needed a place to stay. This means we were going to need jobs.
“We’ll take it.” I said. He looked up. “We’ll pay the down payment and first months rent right now.” I said and pulled out the 17,000 dollars. I placed it on the desk. He took it and threw me a pair of keys.
“Tenth floor, room 27.” He said and went back to tying. We piled into the two elevators and headed to the tenth floor. We roamed down the hall until I found a large door that read 27. I stuck the key into it and twist. I pushed the door open to relive a large apartment.
“It’s huge.” Lilly said in awe. I nodded.
“Okay, there are two wings with 6 rooms in each one, which means two people to a room.” I said, “Boys in the left wing and girls in the right.” I sighed pointing in two ways. As the boys went in the opposite direction I turned to face the others. “We need to decide who is rooming with who.” I said looking at everyone.
“Well, I’ll room with Julie.” Lilly said and Megan glanced at her. I decided not to get involved. I’m not there babysitter.
“We’ll room together.” Violet said gesturing to Charlotte. I nodded and looked at Kristina.
“We’ll room together.” I said speaking for Kristina and myself. The others nodded.
“I’ll room with Glitter.” Megan said still glaring at Lilly and Julie who were linking arms.
“I’ll room with Brook.” Elena said and Brook smiled.
“And that leaves me and Sapphire to room together.” Rosalina said with a smile. I nodded and as the others turned to leave I added.
“Oh, and if we keep traveling in a group of 23, people are going to think something’s up.” And with that, Kristina and I ducked into our room.
Julie Point of View
I put my clothes in the dresser next to the full size bed. I sighed and jumped on the bed. After about twenty minutes we all met in the oversize living room. I sighed tiredly. I sat on the overstuffed couch with Lilly to my right and Kristina to the left of me sitting on the arm rest. She looked down at her wrist and suddenly jumped up and looking worriedly around. “I’m late I was suppose to be at the Rocking Jam 10 minutes ago. If I don’t go I’ll never hear the end of it.” She said looking distressed. “Does anyone want to come with?” She asked looking hopefully at us. Something told me she wasn’t really comfortable with her old friends.
“We’ll go.” I said looking over at Lilly. She smiled, so I figured she wasn’t mad I volunteered her.
“I’ll go and so will James.” Charlotte said glancing at James daring him to object.
“If I’m going so are Blake and Jett.” James said. The boys groaned and started to argue.
“Why don’t we all go?” Glitter asked. It was actually a good idea but Jasmine didn’t agree.
“Nah, too many of us will attract too much attention. How about Charlotte, Julie, Glitter, James and Jett go?” Jasmine suggested.
“Okay, but we better get going.” Kristina said and grabbed her jacket and the key to the apartment. “See ya guys later!” She called as we traveled out of the apartment and down the stairs and waited outside for the bus.
I sighed remembering today at school. “Today was so boring and some of the kids at that school were mean.” I said kicking a can on the ground.
“Why what happened?” Charlotte asked looking concerned.
“They kept asking and talking about my hair color.” I said with a sigh. Charlotte nodded understandingly.
“I know what you mean; everyone kept making comments on my eye colour.” Charlotte said with a sigh right when the bus pulled up in front of us.
Glitter Point of View
The bus jerked to a start. When it came to about its fifth stop Kristina stood up signaling the rest of us to do so too. When we stepped outside there was a small but beautiful café in front of us. It was blue and had round French doors that slide open whenever you stepped in front of them. There was a large electric sign that read “Rocking Jam Café” in bright red letters. When we stepped inside we were greeted by music. I looked to my left and saw a stage with a five teenagers on it. They looked like they were a band. They waved towards Kristina and she waved back and we worked our way to the stage.
“Hey Kristina!” A girl with honey blonde hair called to Kristina and hugged her.
“I got to be honest, I didn’t think you’d show.” Another girl with long dark brown hair said with a smile.
“Guys, this is Hope, Jack and Clara.” Kristina said to us then turned to them. “This is Glitter, Charlotte, Julie, Jett and James.” She said gesturing to us.
“Hey.” Hope said smiling. I smiled back but didn’t say anything. I stood there uncomfortably until the band on stage stopped and jumped down in front of us.
“This is Adam, Thorne, Shane, Janet, and Kory.” Kristina said introducing them. I smiled and shook their hands.
“Well we got to play again but it was great meeting you!” Janet said smiling then they climbed back on stage and we sat down at the booth.
“So should we order Pizza or something?” Kristina asked breaking the silence.
“Yea sure, pizza sounds good.” I said and the others nodded in agreement.
