why 4kids entertainment lost their license on winx in the US?

I'm not too sure as to why 4kids got revoked of their license of Winx. I've heard speculations that they loss their license due to the creators not liking what they were doing with the show. (Either the voices, or changes they made etc.) They really aren't too many answers that are 100% sure as to why they lost their rights over the show.

Maybe 4kids went out of business? I remember the channel making an announcement that they were supposedly 'moving' and that if you wanted to catch your favorite shows, you would have to go check this channel out.

I'm not too sure, those are just my thoughts over the question.

Because that rainbow needed more money, they aired it on nick because nick has more power. 4kids lost all there rights to WinxClub, and nick now has rights and rainbow must have more money they need.

4kids lost their rights to winx club because they changed a bunch of names such as,
Layla name was originally aisha
Rose(floras little sister) was originally miele
Tides was originally andros
Sparks was originally domino
Tecna was not supposed to have a british accent
They cut out a whole bunch of scenes throughout seasons 1-3
Baltor was originally valtor
