I know that "sophia" in Greek means wisdom. Winx Club saves the earth with the power of sophix... maybe it means that - to save our planet - we need to be wise?
In my opinion lovis takes its name from love, because they received the "gift of the heart". And what can heat a cold-hearted person better than love? They've to fight against cold and ice with their power of love...

Wow, it means wisdom in greek? Then what could it mean in english?
I mean that "sophia" it's in the greek language, that means "saggezza" in italian... and it can be translated as "wisdom" in English... I'm sorry if I've made some mistakes... I'm not so good at writing in English... ^///^
