I'm not a huge fan of either, but in general I like Andrea more - at least, when she's not throwing a tantrum or trying to shoot someone who doesn't need to be shot - which is not very often.

Yes Andrea wanted to opt out but Dale took that choice away from her and yes she held a grudge for a while and basically got over it in 2x05 when she shot Daryl and she knew what she did was wrong. She didn't commit suicide because she was afraid that Dale would do the same, the reason she left the CDC.

Nothing in this show ever hinted at Andrea having feelings toward shane...and when does Andrea ever use her sister as an excuse.if I'm not mistaken everyone else is the one who throws it in her face. Andrea for the win!!! I hate Lori!!! In tghe last episode I was like "NOOOO, they killed Dale and now they'll kill Andrea too???" She was the only one who didn't make it to a car but then this ninja-chick came to the rescue!!! I started reading the comics because I can't wait for the next season!!!!

I disliked Andrea when she shot at Daryl (especially when she didn't need to), but ever since she told off Lori, and the last episode of season 2, I think she has become one of my favorite characters. Andrea has come along way. She went from being a woman with nothing to live for, to being a strong fighter. Even though all the cars where gone, and she was completely alone, she still chose to fight. Lori depends on Rick and the rest of the group for her survival. Andrea doesn't want to have to depend on other. She has proven that even on her own, she still has a fighting chance.

Strength comes from inner character, how someone holds it together, how they behave in the worst of events, and from the show it's clear who deals with horrific events better, and it's not Andrea. "screw her husbands best friend", I don't see how this is a character flaw, she was told her husband was dead, it is not possible for her to betray a dead man, not to mention how she's allowed to sleep with more than one man in her life time, STOP slut-shaming.
