I think it could go any of the three ways. Death is the less likely, but still a possibility. I have a feeling that Danai saying "I can confirm this will be my final season as Michonne ON THE SHOW." sorta hinting at the fact that she might appear in the movies. Though they might just write her off like they did Maggie and have her just leave. *shrugs*
