Alright, so the whole Carol thing, I was dreading also, but I freaking loved it!!! I think that now, she really can't go further down, only up. And the fact that Morgan just killed to save her is awesome!!! And will show her that yes, even when you're Morgan, you can kill to save the ones you care about. And also..... YES!!! The Kingdom is here!!!!
Now, about that scene at the end..... WOW!!! Just freaking WOW!!!! The sound effect at the end just gave me goosebumps!!! I was both scared, freaked out, yet extremely excited at the end!!!
URGH!!! I hate that we have to wait SEVEN months! Yet, I think it's great..... *facepalm* #MixedFeelings
I haven't read very far in the comics obviously (though people have spoiled many things for me), but I know it'll just get worse and worse. =/ Will this show/comic ever actually go anywhere? I hope a cure is found sometime during this show.
This episode gets bumped up to an okay because of Negan. Holy crap, JDM is perfect and terrifying. I did not care for the hour-long failed road trip. Seems like a lot of effort for just Maggie. (Then again, they probably like her more than I do.) Annoyed at how the Carol stuff went down. And the whole "I can't kill" storyline, to be honest. Please resume your bad-assery soon, Carol. Glad Morgan finally shot someone, though. And Father Shitbag stepped up and became less of a cowardly loser, that's nice. I almost kinda like him a tiny bit these days.
Pissed about that damn cliffhanger. 7 months!? Blow me, AMC.
Liked the idea of the continually blocked road trip, but it was executed poorly with the goddamned mushy speeches and soaring emotional music every 5 bloody seconds.
Was horrified by the abuse Carol was put through. And all so Morgan can have a redemptive moment. Disgusting.
Negan's entrance was spectacular and I LOVE HIM. I'm pretty much 100% Team Negan at this point.
The final moments of the episode were stunning. Like, series defining stunning. BUT leaving that as a cliff-hanger after how incredibly irritatingly drawn-out that scene was is simply yet another example of poor TWD writing. It would have had much more impact if they had shown who it was, and some of the emotional aftermath. But instead I just rolled my eyes and said, "TWD writers trying to stretch shit out again because they suck." I literally don't care who he picked now.
