Is anyone else really confused between the books and the show !? .. i mean alaric is dating elena's aunt who apparently isnt her aunt and jeremys getting chased by a vamp girl and bonnie aswel?! like everythings so upside down

i read the book elena isnt adopted in the book and im confused too like helloo were did they get all this stuff from?like i9m almost on the last book so and nothing like that has happend YET so yah i am confused sadlwy!!!

That's what I said, it hasn't began here yet lol just loads of people have said lots of things and I just get confused by that :P
