Vampires can't have children. They can not procreate, it's been well established. Klaus already had the werewolf gene from his father (or mother, can't remember which had the affair) when he was turned into a vampire.

While Klaus' mother had the affair BEFORE she was a vampire. Klaus was conceived before his mother was turned into a vampire, therefore, Klaus was born human with the wereeolf gene and THEN was turned into a vampire.

It's part of the Buffyverse because it's a spin-off of Buffy and takes place in the same universe - they share the same mythology, characters, etc. The Whedonverse is a broader 'verse that includes Joss Whedon's other work (Firefly, Dollhouse, Dr. Horrible). I agree with you though. If the TVD writers did decide to have such an "impossible" pregnancy on the show, I don't think it would be with Tyler & Caroline. And not this early.

It was established by Damon, vampires can't have kids. Not even if they had sex with a werewolf. Cuz Katherine did it with Mason a lot and she never got pregnant

Vampires can't procreate, and I don't think (I hope) TVD is gonna break that rule. I doubt they want to be compared to Twilight, or even to Buffy.

okay I'm confused by everyone. lol. Yes Klaus' father was a werewolf. and no he wasn't turned into a vampire. he was born a vampire. they all were. how could they have been turned when they were the originals????? all I'm saying. They were the first so they weren't turned. I hope she isn't pregnant but ya never know.

Vampires can't have babies, so no! I think the only reason why Klaus and siblings were born was because their mother had them before they were all vampires or because they're originals so the rules are different!

They are the originals because they are the FIRST vampires.

Klaus does not have the same human father as the rest of his siblings. He has a werewolf father - his mother had an affair. Meaning that the werewolf species predates the vampire species.

I assume that his mother and the father of the rest of Klaus's siblings were turned into vampires too, but I don't know this for sure. And how ANY of them were turned we don't know yet.

I think the man hunting Klaus is the man who is the father to all of Klaus's other siblings. The same guy who thought he was Klaus's father until the affair was discovered.
