I actually hope not.

Don't get me wrong, I love the vampire diaries, both show and book, but I personally find Meredith a little boring. I don't like her and Alaric in the books, they don't seem to have any chemistry.

If the writers do a real good job (if they bring her in) and cause real sparks, then maybe...

But I don't think she'll come in because 1) I heard she was supposed to come in Season 2, and she hasn't and 2) I don't think she would really bring anything to the show. In the books, she wasn't a witch or anything, so for the show she wouldn't really fit in unless the writers made her something else, like a shape-shifter (first thing I could think of) then she'd be a boring character.

I actually think it depends on how much I like Meredith when she's introduced to the show.

okay yes they should bring her into the show buttt! she can't be his love interest! she is Elena's age and is one of her best friends in the books. so ewww.

Well not as alarics love Interet, but as a child hood friend that left mystic falls for a secret reason..... Lime let's say cause o klaus l.... They can mix it with the books. Make her half vamp like in the books or bring her on won a twin brother..... They could do so much with her character, and who knows how the writers will bring her on cause they changed everyone else. And yes the writers said she is still gonna come on the show
