Obviously it should be Damon. Because of his experience and long time on human blood. If the writers will make Stefan win just to make him look good. It will be bad writing.
^If I remember correctly isn't Stefan a little older than Damon (in terms of being a vampire?) But Damon has spent more years drinking blood.. so it maybe more evenly matched. Of course, Stefan has been drinking human blood for a while now. Should be inttresting
Damon Has Been On Human Blood For Over 100 Years Not Bunny Blood Like Stefan, Stefan Just Started On Human Blood And I Think I'd Be Stupid On The Writer's Part To Make Him Stronger Then Damon Or Even Equally As Strong!
^Stefan hasn't been on 'bunny blood' all that time. Season 2 showed that. Before Lexi came, he was wrecking havoc everywhere..and even Damon said he's missed the guy (Stefan) who used to rip ppl apart for their blood (in Rose I think). When he's on pure animal blood then he's a lot weaker of course, but he could still probably fight Damon cz he's an EMOTIVE fighter and older. Like when Damon killed Lexi - he practically beat the crap outta Damon.
he beat the crap of damon, because damon let him,he did really put up a fight becuase he was feeling gulity of what he did to his brother's bf. and you just said it samjhart damon KILLED lexie who was much older than him and stronger, yes she was druged but she was still strong,so i'm gonna go with damon
They are about the same age as vampires. A few days probably doesn't matter and they died on the same day. So they both started the process the same day.
Stefan didn't beat the crap out of Damon. Back then he was on bunny blood and had no chance. He told Zack that he could not stop Damon. He attacked him but Damon did not fight back.
I still think it will be totally out of character and bad writing if they let Stefan win.
they are bothe the same vampire age, stefan turn first and aftre FEW hourse he turnd damon, plus damon is older than stefan in human age plus damon was in the army so...
@BONES45: He attacked him but Damon did not fight back.
I remember him getting and angry, throwing Stefan as they exchanged fists. So in actual fact, Damon DID fight back. He just didn't EXPECT Stefan to be so strong. Stefan was angry, he was driven by his love for Lexi who he lost cz of Damon. I think when Stefan is in this emotional state he loses the idea that Damon could kill him. Yes, in s1, Stefan was wary of trying to 'stop' Damon but he just didn't seem to think at all at his bff's death. I think it hurt him too much.
Damon being in the army wouldn't really help him. Carter was an older vampire - who you'd expect to use his training (or would know how to) but was killed quite easily by Jonathan. It doesn't give them an advantage at all it seems.
And they may have started the process at the same time - but Stefan completed it first. Making him the older vampire. Idk what exactly it is on this show btween age&strength but they do seem to stress on it alot so I think it may work in Stefan's favour
Actually I don't. If Damon had retaliated at all, I'd know he didn't want to fight. Near the end, he started to fight back but Stefan pinned him. So I guess, Damon did end up really wanting to fight but he didn't WIN cz he underestimated Stefan's anger and abilities.
and damon has been and still is on human blood for over 100 years unlike stefan.
Yeah and as far as I can remember from the show, some of the strength is retained, but a lot of the effects is lost until they start human.b drinking again. Damon stopped drinking human blood for a LITTLE WHILE. So when he got impaled by Emily he felt the pain and was unable to get himself down. He said himself that was the reason he drank human blood.
If your logic is right tho - then shouldn't 100+years of human blood really protected him somehow? Like when the time when Stefan threw that knife at him. He was more concerned about the shirt than his injury cz it didn't HURT him. The effects of human blood are only apparent when they're on the particular diet. And since they both started and stopped around the same time - they are more evenly matched. But I personally think the vamp age thing might help Stefan
There is no chance Stefan can win. He only drinks a drop of Elena's blood and spent a long time fighting his nature and was weak from drinking only animal blood.
I think the diet is not a problem, because in TVD (shows and books) it seems that the power, strength and abilities isn’t a matter of conventional developmental delay; is more like if they stayed inactive for a while, they don’t hydrated well but when they begin to feed on human blood again, they will quickly gain all the strength that has been asleep inside (e.g. Pearl, Katherine and every vampire who had been in the tomb). I mean they heal pretty fast and I think that with the power accumulation is similar, at the end they are supernatural creatures.
And like Ian said once I think that Stefan had been hold all those repressed feelings of anger, rage, sadness, etc. towards his brother (because he felt guilty and didn’t react but that didn’t change the fact that Damon could be jerk that annoy him until no end) and when he explode will be terrible! for Damon, of course.
he's been drinking human blood since a long time ago
Stefan has been drinking human blood since a few months ago
Doesn't matter that Stefan become a vampire first because it is just for a couple hours, not years or months
