I personally love them both, but Stefan and Bonnie seem to be the most hated characters on the show. I think Bonnie receives a tiny bit more hate than Stefan though.

I love both too but lately my love for Stefan has been diminishing.
I used to hate Bonnie myself...back when she was just bitchy all the time. I don't care if she had the right to be or not...it was annoying as hell to watch. I wanted her to be part of the team and not against them. So now I totally love her since not only has she dropped the attitude, she's able to kick ass while being part of the team.

I think the same. I just don't get why they hate her. Is it a crime for giving Damon an aneurysm on 2x02? Damon darn deserved it since he's killed Jeremy and done many more horrible things. Many say she's got an attitude and I have no idea why they would be mad at her for not being a good friend to Caroline when she turned into a vampire. Vampires and Witches are natural enemies. Caroline DID have to prove that she was the same girl she used to be. Damon changed, so I think Bonnie had every right to judge Caroline.

I don't hate Stefan either and saying he's boring is no excuse for hating him or wanting him dead because he's the perfect boyfriend for Elena and her soulmate. At least, in my opinion, Elena is herself when she's with Stefan. Stefan isn't not boring, but very romantic, nice, sweet, and kind. That's just him, not the talkative type. I don't think it's bad being someone who doesn't have fun like Damon since I'm just like Stefan and nobody finds me boring at all. Just because Damon sounds more FUN doesn't mean your supposed to hate on the other guy because he isn't like that.

I dont personally hate Stefan, but I cannot stand Bonnie. They're only the most hated characters because they are the biggest threats to Delena. Bonnie isnt really a threat in the show yet, and she might never be, but still people dislike her character because of her relationship with Damon.

I cud never like her. NEVEER lol but when she's with Jer, she's tolerable

Bonnie just blames everything on everybody else when most of the time its her fault(Gram's death,Caroline Vampire) and she says shes so strong but complains that shes weak and doesnt want to apart of the supernatural world. I understand that vampires witches and even werewolves dnt get along but caroline was her best friend and she was ignoring her because she was something she hated, best friends accept you for who you are. And With Stefan people dislike him cause he jst the quiet type and theres nothing wrong with that at all its jst some people lyk an adrenaline rush so they go for the bad boy(Damon). It all just depends on personal opinion. I personally dislike Bonnie but I love Stefan :)

I love both but there was a time when I wasnt very fond of Bonnie.
She's become a lot better now that her and Elena are cool and when she's with Jeremy. Shows a softer nice side of her.

Nevertheless she still gets a lot of hate.

And undeservingly so. I have grown to really appreciate her character. There was a time when she annoyed me.
I don't think a lot of people hate Stefan but I think many people are indifferent to him or dislike him. Personally I am not indifferent to him and I don't really dislike him. He is important to the show. Sometimes I like him a little other times he annoys me. A lot of the time he bores me. But the show needs both the Salvatore brothers.

I love Bonnie, but she is definately hated by a lot of fans REGARDLESS of ships.

Stefan isn't as hated, and just before anyone brings ships in it, you will find that most DE fans LIKE Stefan, just not with Elena.

I hate Bonnie but not because of Damon. Its kind of annoying that people always assume thats why. As for Stefan, I don't hate him at all. Sure sometimes he annoys me but overall I like him.

I actually kind off love Bonnie, but I think she gets more hate than Stefan.I understand why she gets so much hate, since she hates Damon and Damon is the most loved character on the show, then theres Delena fans who hate Bamon so... I'm a Delena fan but I don't hate Bonnie because of Bamon. I think everything she did to Damon was understandable, and I like how she is the only one who really fights back against Damon, I love him but I like how she calls him out on all his crap. But I kinda hate Stefan now, I didn't really care about him last season but now urghh! He is too good, well at least he acts it and then acts like Damon is so much worse than him because he actually acts like a vampire!

i actually dont really like bonnie, but i'm pretty sure the reason why these two characters are the most hated on the show is bcuz bonnie tortures damon and HATES him and Stefan stands in the way of Damon and Elena being together...Damon is by far the most loved character on the show and DELENA has the biggest fan base so it makes perfect sense actually...:)

Out of the main characters, definitely. Not that I share that opinion... I really like Bonnie!
But if you count all the characters, then I think Jules is the most hated. And I totally share that opinion. Die, Jules!
