I never felt sorry for him. He's a dick! He only thinks of himself and Isabel. That's it. He kinda thinks of Elena. But not enough. Cause if he really cared about her then he would try to protect Stefan and Damon.

I was thinking that someone should cut him some slack but I still thought he was an ass. Then the speech to Elena came and I was like 'yeah, they should definitely cut him some slack' (he had told Damon how to kill an Original too) but then he goes and visits Katherine... Not that I don't like Katherine but seriously, John?
