yes ive seen some chemistry between them and elena has already made it clear she will always love stephen so i dont want to see damon feeling sorry fro himself anymore he needs to get over the fact that katherine is a b**** that cant make up her mind on who she wanted to be with til it was to late so now she just needs to leave and if not voluntarily, forcibly and elena loves stephen and made that very clear and will probably hate damon 4ever after he killed her brother changing him into a vampire because he had vampire blood in his system so the only hope damon has now is to leave and try to fix what he has broken and i think bonnie and him would be a good couple after everything boils over idk when though maybe he can regain their trust by helping defeat katherine idk i never read the books so idk what will happen next
