The fact that we have/had to wait so long for Delena made it more precious. More tangible. I love their flirty relationship and the tension it brings. 	allisoncarleton picked YES!!: Hope so. Maybe not season 2 though. See Damon and Elena have this thing going for them called build up. Which Stefan would know nothing about. Seriously, it took them like 8 episodes to say I love you. In the words of Robin Scherbasky they're I love you sluts. There's no build up, it just happens so fast it's unrealistic and boring. When Elena falls for Damon she should try to deny it to herself at first and then after a long time, eventually admit it. But, I don't think her and Stefan should really break up in season 2. I think it would be too soon. But, if they did break up, it shouldn't be because of Damon. posted over a year ago.
