i was about to say stefan, that he had common sense, then i remembered that damon manages to over think things, he notices more, he is more suspicious and cultivating (and smoking hot!!!!!!) and even though they aren't all the best traits they all require a LOT of brains and sense. plus he is very manipulative so he is pretty smart to be able to tell WHAT would work with who :) plus he does know what to do something and that things are wrong he just chose to ignore it XD thats why he changed with elena, it was all there just hiding :)

i pike stefan because he was sarte intell the end but at the end Damon was sarte and carring.So they both was sarte at one point.

Stefan's a bit slow, Damon's catches onto things very quickly and is very Schemey, Manipulative, That requires lots of brains.

Damon notices and examines everything and everyone around him unlike Stefan who only examines and notices Elena and nothing else matters to him.
