Duh. Every time they show Tyler, he's usually backed by an image of the school mascot (timberwolf) or a full moon. I'm just glad they finally let everyone know something was up with him.

That's what he is in the books, and werewolves have really good hearing too, plus the vervain didn't work on the Mayor so they cant be vampires. Plus the eyes and the whole really, really bad temper. All the pieces fit. But I'm wondering if Tyler knows, I don't think that he does, but his dad has to have known, that's what I don't get is why he came to the carnival, or whatever if he knew that the device was going to be activated and he knew that he had that good of hearing, so maybe he doesn't know, but that would be weird.
