	shankii picked I noticed, but I think she did that caused shes scared of her feelings for Damon: I think everyone sees things different; for me this option says it all, I see it this way: Isobel just told Elena that Damon loves her because how he defended her, that was a big shock for her, then goes with Stefan but sees Damon and suddenly remember what Isobel just said, she hugs Stefan because she's scared of what that feeling might awake in her and uses her boyfriend to not make it obvious that maybe she also feels something for Damon, perhaps not in a romantic way yet, but she feels it, we just need to see the founder's day webclip ;) posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

Elena has no romantic feelings for Damon WHAT SO EVER at this point. I think that, up until that point, she didn't know about Damon's feelings for her, and just considered him a friend. But when she heard that, she was confused. Not confused as in "oh, I think I like him too" but as in "what? really?" She didn't know how to respond to the suitation, but she did what she could. She showed Stefan she loved him and him only. It was also somewhat a message for Damon saying "I love Stefan". Body language can work wonders in suitations, but unfortunately, Dalena shippers have misread this one, and are pulling at strings that don't exsist. Not that they won't in the future, but for now, it's Stelena and Stelena only, at least romantically. posted over a year ago.
