I didn't want Elena to take it and I REALLY didn't want Damon to take it! I would have been happy for Rebekah to get it and Stefan would have been kind of cool too, I think.
As for Katherine - I think I like it. I totally loved her as a vampire, but after this twist, she might get more screen time that she would have otherwise and I'm sure it will be interesting.

I know that Rebekah wanted it, but I also don't think that after all these centuries as a vampire she could handle being human again. With Stefan - I think it could really badly mess with show's dynamic, just no. Especially that I'm pretty sure that who once got the cure, won't ever be able to became vampire again.
With Kat it's really an interesting twist - we know that she was the last person wanting to become human, even before Damon (well, maybe after Klaus). I hope this plot will be very well written, because watching Kat adjusting to human life again can be really cool :)

I really didnt know who was going to get it because they werent going to do something predictable, but i was hoping stefen damon or rebekah was going to get it. I really didnt want caroline to get it, i like her better as a vampire. and katherine like wow. i am excited to see her when she is powerless against Elena. i wonder what elena will do to her. Kill her, torcher her or what. i am excited to see what happens

I think it's really stupid because she is just going to go get turned again by someone else and they will have wasted the cure.
