It’s come to my attention that a lot of angry shipping messages have been sent to the lovely Julie Plec recently via Twitter. I thought it might be a good idea for fans to give her a break from the drama for a day and flood her with nice things.

Date: Saturday, December 31st

Rules:

1- DON’T bash ships. As ideal is it would be, the point of the day is to focus on the positive and let her know that we support her regardless of endgame…not to try to win an argument.

2- DO feel free to thank her for giving us so many wonderful scenes this season Remind her that even though shippers can be batshit crazy, a lot of us are good, positive people.

3- DO send her non ship related love as well. She is a huge part of the reason this show is so amazing.

Ok, so I'd like to propose something. I know all of us on here LOVE tvd soo much! We all have different opinions, ships, and ideas. Our diversity is such a great thing but, as we all know, it can lead to trully ugly and mean-spirited fights. I've seen people try to rip eachother to shreds over tvd and it's an embarassment to our epic show! All of us have been guilty of letting our passion get the best of us. At the end of the day and despite our differences, we're all tvd fans. I'd like to offer up an idea. Let's put a simple "I will" or something like that if we want to try to be more civil...

Ok, I don't know if any of you agree with me, but i think Twilight copied Vampire Diaries. i mean, do you see a resemblance? A human who befriends vampires, A love triangle about a human who falls in love with a vampire but also loves someone else as a friend, but that friend is in love with her. Bella loses a friend because of the vampire just like Elena loses Caroline as a friend because of Stefan. There are also wolves in the stories, too. Now, is it just me, or did Twilight copy Vampire Diaries? Remember that The Awakening came before Twilight.
