Elena opened the door of the Boarding House. As she passed the living room she saw Damon sitting in the couch, his back to her. She wanted to sneak away, but…
“Elena! Get your ass in here now!” Damon said. He sounded furious and so Elena rushed to him. She looked at him and startled. She had never seen him this angry.
“What’s wrong? Did I do something?” she asked careful. Damon looked at Stefan, who came out of the study room.
“I’m sorry, Elena. I thought he knew” he said sad.
“Knew what? What is going on?” Elena exclaimed.
“Will you stop playing dumb?” Damon said angry and he jumped up from the couch. “What happened last time you visited Stefan?”
Elena swallowed.
“Did Rebekah force you to drink her blood?” Damon asked upfront.
Elena looked at him scared. Then she nodded.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Damon asked, breathing heavy through his nose.
“Because I blamed you!” Elena defended herself. “You’re so…awful lately and sometimes I feel I just can’t talk to you”
“Well, I’m sorry about that” Damon said snarky.
“Yeah, me too” Elena said sad. “I’m going home”
She turned around and left.

He acted like Damon had no part in Elena’s life after Elena chose him again.
He treated her oh, so well last season and this season that it was a complete shock that she had feelings for Damon.
And now, being the wonderful and PERFECT man that he is, he might- just might- come down off of his Holy Throne and stoop down to take Elena back if she comes crawling back to him after everything she has done to him. How is he even thinking about the possibility of Elena going back to him, let alone deciding if he’ll take her back?
