I mean isn't about the 3 main characters (Damon, elena, and Stefan) about their history and how they changed as characters, but all we have seen and learned about for the last 2 seasons is Stefan past, who he was, what he did (his past as riper), his friends(lexie) ,and who became good Stefan.
But until now we know nothing about what Damon was doing for the last 100 and so years( I mean a side from trying to get Katherine out, I mean we haven't even seen his bedroom until S2, we don't what kind things he did, who are his friends if he had any and the most important thing is we don't know WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED to make Damon change from good vampire to a '"bad vampire".
Don't believe me go back and watch all episodes that have flash backs and you will see it for yourself ALL and I mean ALL the flash backs are about Stefan we still didn't ONE SINGL Damon flash back.

Katherine: You almost had me killed today.(Damon)
Damon: Common Revenge.
Katherine:Common Revenge?
Damon nodds his head.
Katherine: What's the point of me being here if you don't trust me?
Damon: You had my given trust but of course, I was wrong.
Katherine: I did what I had to do. If you,Stefan and,Elena Wasn't willing enough to trust me and stop treating me like a threat-
Damon: Because you are one.(Walks over and pours a glass of whine up)
Katherine gives Damon a cold stare; Damon smiles at Katherine.
Katherine: Fine.(Starts to leave)
Damon: Leaving Again. This time you'll have to save yourself.
Katherine: Yes Damon I'm leaving. You wanna know why?
Damon: Do I care?
Katherine: Everything's such a big fuss between us When I'm hiding Secrets, yet I'm not suppose to be upset when you keep important "Secrets" like a Vampire,Werewolf and a witch has to be re-sacrificed in order to uplift the spell from the Dagger.

"tell me my fulure" i asked her i needed to be destracted
"grams said i needed some sort of ball for that" she told me sarcastin so i just handed her a emty beer bottle/.
he eyes went like they were far away seeing something or hearing something that i couldnt but she came back
"bonnie what was that?" she looked like she didnt wont to answer me
"it was a crow and fog, but its nothing im just drunk im allright really i have just had a lot to drink really im fine i just think im a little drunk" she smiled and turned away.

"im sorry i didnt mean to frighten you" stefan told me in a colling voise.
"its ok well your here" i was suprised and over joyed at this.
"im here"
we walked around for a while it was nice but the things we talked about i would never tell a stranger that. he was easie to talk to.
