If u read the novels , how klaus looks like?and is he evil?

I'm too lazy to dig up my book to tell you his looks, but I can answer the second part. Yes, he's evil. Way more than TV!Klaus (who I no longer consider evil). Let's put it this way, one of his quotes is "I've walked with the devil." If you want more I can give it, but I don't want to spoil anything. :)
