Do you think Caroline will protect Klaus?

The whole storylne with Klaus and Caroline {Klaroline} possibly hooking up, dont you think Caroline has developed feelings toward Klaus and might back out from the whole plan and prevent the gang from killing him...?

This would be a huge twist and could lead onto something new maybe?

I think that Caroline could protect Klaus since it does look like she's developing feelings for him, but I think she also knows the risk of helping him. I mean she would be put in the same positon that Tyler was in at the beginning of the season. Protecting the enemy. And no one, especially Elena and the Salvatore's won't handle that kind of betrayal well.
