The Vampire Diaries TV Show Question

Anyone miss Jeremy?

I was actually glad when Jeremy was written out--at first. I was pissed at the way he treated Bonnie, like everyone else. But now I miss him.

I think his character shows a great potential for growth. I could see Jeremy finally coming back to Mystic Falls and being a TOTAL BADASS. Seriously, the minute he decapated that hybrid, I thought, "Now that's a REAL vampire hunter". That's the way it should be. Right now I feel all the characters are really sentimental and emotionally baggaged and sensitive. We need a character like Jeremy who does what needs to be done, and does it with style. But isn't a prick about it like Ripper Stefan. Also, it's just refreshing to have a badass human around. Jeremy/Alaric would be the greatest tag-team Vampire Hunters around. XD

Anyways, I believe sending Jeremy away was a good way for him to grow on his own. He was constantly being babied by Elena (even when he didn't need it), and it's one of the reasons I think he was so emotionally immature. Maybe getting away from Elena was a good thing. He can learn to be independent and figure out what it is HE wants, not what Elena thinks he wants.

I really hope Jeremy is brought back soon with more growth. I think the reason he fell so easily back to Anna was because he was confused about what he wanted. With more development, I think he'll finally be more sure of himself. Plus, if they bring him back we could get more Bonnie time. To be honest, I never really liked Jeremy with Bonnie. But I think a stronger version of Jeremy like the one I previously described would be a GREAT boyfriend to Bonnie.

Anyone agree?

Agree! But Jeremy can't come back until Damon says so (because of the compulsion), so I think it'll take a while. And now, with everything that's going on, it is safer for Jeremy to stay away from Mystic Falls.
Somehow, I understand what Elena did. One thing is to have a adult decapitating hybrids, the other is to have your 16-year-old brother doing it. I mean... Sixteen? No one is supposed to deal with that much at this age.

Well, I do miss Jeremy, and Bonnie could really use a good friend right now, but I'm happy he won't die anytime soon xD

True. But Elena isn't that much older than him. She just turned 18, right? But she started dealing with this vampire mayhem at 17. Really, they're ALL too young to be dealing with this.
