Mostly inspired by book Marius's "That is more tempting invitation than you know. But I'd do you a great disservice if I came with you. I'd stand between you and the world. I couldn't help it."

I'm fairly proud of how this turned out. The actual video starts about 1 minute in. Credits to Kristin Harris for the idea of the moment where Lestat and Louis are looking at each other.
