The Tenth Doctor Question

Regeneration=Burning TARDIS

Why does ten's second regeneration cause the TARDIS to burn? I know he burns as he regenerates but he has never burned the TARDIS too. Is it because of ten's desire to stay? Or because his wounds were so great that he needed more energy to regenerate?

I'm pretty sure it was because he held in the Regeneration for so long that it literally exploded out of him. Think of it him as a kind of pressure cooker. By holding it in, the pressure built up and when it finally blew, it did so in a big way.
