The Sims 3 Question

My Sim game will not start

So I got the sims 3 game yesterday and it worked fine but the next day I go 2 play it and it says "No game disc found! please insert The Sims 3 game disc before proceeding " And the thing is I've already put the game in. Any help ?

Maybe you try taking the it out then putting it back in, but if that doesn't work you could probably go to the shop you got the game from and they could help!
