Well, they are not like they were in the old days, but come on. They have been around for 19 years, you have to start having bad episodes by now. The show is still good and funny, but not as funny as it use to be, but still funny, and there is no need for that kind of gratuidous swearing.

Oh, gosh. The characters were deeper and more emotional than ever, and the jokes were just classic. Back in those days, The Simpsons went against what was popular and it poked fun at what was considered hip! And somehow, it attracted a vast legion of fans. Cartoons that embrace anti-conformity deserve the greatest respect, and, in the older episodes, this is reflected perfectly! Champange over gingerale as I always say. I like smart, sophisticated, and heartfelt.

Seasons 2 - 12 were the shit . . . seasons 13 - 17 were definetly bad in comparison, but lately they've been getting better.

I didn't like the beginnings of the show much. It became better in season 3 or 4 until season 17, then it became kinda sucky...
