I love POTO so much!! It really saved my life back in middle school because I felt worthless just like Erik, but when I saw it I realized that even though I might feel worthless their will be someone who loves me for who I am and they won't think I'm worthless at all! Posted over a year ago

Hold up! Did anyone know there was a freaking SEQUEL TO THIS MASTERPEICE?! It is called Love Never Dies. I have been a fan of this musical/movie for years. Wtf. Posted over a year ago
hatelarxene commented…
Love Never Dies is terrible. The music sucks, the plot is horrible, Stockholm Syndrome is rampant throughout the whole thing, and the characters are so unlikable and boring (and Christine was already unlikable and boring, so making her even moreso is a goddamn feat). LND is worse than the awful 2004 movie, which I didn't think was possible. over a year ago
phantom_best commented…
Phantom was a lot more accessible and I guess Love Never Dies is an acquired taste but like anything that isn’t a jingle made to sell two copies, it needs to be learned and appreciated. The music is beautiful and that is non disputable. Granted the ending is god awful but no one ever hired Andrew Lloyd Webber for his play writing skills. over a year ago
DRWHO94761 commented…
Ok, to be honest I didn't really like LND, but to be fair it was adapted from a fan book tittled "Phantom of Manhattan" its a good book. But to me its more like a what if story than anything. over a year ago

Honestly my very favorite version of POTO is the 25th anniversary version with Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo. Is it just me, or after Phantom sings Music of the Night, I just want to say YES I'll stay with you forever! Forget Raoul, no offense meant to Raoul lovers. But seriously, that's what I'd do lmao anyone else??? Posted over a year ago

I have to say Emmy Rossum was GREAT as Christine! I actually love both her and Sarah Brightman. Also, since Emmy did so well singing the POTO songs, I would love to see her make an album of ALW songs. I would especially LOVE to hear her sing, "Don't Cry for me Argentina," from "Evita." I think she would be a great choice for Eva Peron, if she ever does Broadway. Would anyone else like to hear her sing that? No haters, only fans post, please. Posted over a year ago

Sierra Bogess is my favorite Christine but I also like Emmy she's cool and I was actually introduced to the story through the 2004 movie so she was the first one I saw over a year ago

It's interesting that Phans think they have the right to choose who Christine should marry, especially when Gaston Leroux.a feminist, wrote a play called "The Lily" in 1908 which asserted a woman's right to marry whom she chose. Posted over a year ago

I think Phans need to talk more openly about which versions we've seen. It will make it much easier to talk to other Phans about their points of view applying only the knowledge that the other Phan has, because no Phan is better then any other biased on the number of versions they've seen. This will make us a better online community of Phans,,because that's what we are. a community. Posted over a year ago

Who would I go to to get another phantom of the opera movie made ( a certain director, screenplay writer, etc.)? I'm thinking about having another movie made, but a little more based of the book ( only with a better ending ). Posted over a year ago
PandaKISS commented…
what, are you just going to comission a director to make the movie or something? Are you going with the book-based Erik, in other words not hot? over a year ago
phangirl4eva commented…
It's going to be based mainly off Gaston's book, only the ending will be different. Erik won't die and I'm going to try to have Christine go with him ( there aren't really any movies where she does ). His looks with be like in the book only I would like to see that they give the actor soft eyes to even out his appearances. over a year ago

Even though I like the bitter sweet ending, it would be nice to have a book-based movie out there (more than just the 1925 ver.) I for it! over a year ago
