Most difficult question ever. Jim, Dwight, and Michael in Meredith's van broke the tie for me.

This episode had me laughing for hours! I loved Stanley yelling at Ryan, Meredith's son hating Dwight, Toby's adorable little daughter and then Dwight talking about Nazi's to the kids... I could go on forever

"I CAN'T DECIDE" is such a cop-out. don't do that.

Andy floating away, Dwight burning on coals and Pam confessing her true feelings...what could be better!?!?

whats so funny about the job? its not one of the best episodes, for all we know jim might have gotten the job and wanted to talk to pam about leaving at dinner, this is a comedy not a romance

First: I have to say, seeing Dwight crumple on the burning coals was not funny so much as it was horrifying.

second: Ephidel, the question is "what is the best episode" not "what is the funniest episode", and the term 'best' is a subjective one. Even though I would really prefer the office as a comedy rather than a soap opera.

I think The Injury is the funniest, but The Dundies is the all around best. It showcases everyone, is hilarious, and has great Jim/Pam melancholy. It also has one of the best versions of the quintessental Office story: Michael does something stupid and annoys everyone, he gets depressed, and somebody reaches out to make it better. I think the only version of this story I like better is grief counseling.

I agree chunkyrice, the Dundies was multifaceted and very well done. I was very impressed that Mindy Kaling wrote it (although I'm sure they all had a hand in it, improvisation-style). Drunk Pam planting one right on Jim and then falling off a barstool, Dwight running the board, Angela refusing her statue, Michael... being Michael. It was all great.

Omg the injury, whats worse a foot injury or a head injury...haha I love Michael
