Dont you see that the show revolves around them NOT getting together. They get together - BAM - no more show. What would the episodes be about? The magical element would be gone.
I think the writers have to get them together next season even if it's not permanently. Kind of like every great TV couple that you've ever wanted, you can only drag it out for so long. Even Ross and Rachel got together for a bit and broke up. Clark and Lana on Smallville. JD and Eliot on Scrubs. I think they should let them date for a bit and maybe they'll have problems. But yes, the fans demand it.
Well, if next season is the last season, then it could work quite well to have them hook up. It all depends on whether or not they want the show to keep going. I have been noticing that the latest episodes have been hit or miss and don't seem to have the same comic genius of the previous season.
i agree with smafdi. the show runs on the tension between them. I;d love them to be together, but for the sake of the show, it cant be. Well, not until the end of the last season.
it should be the last season of the whole show when they get together there wouldn't be a show besides michael,andy and dwight's ignorance and arrogance. as well as the cold tempered ryan and the mean spirited stanley. which could not carry a series.
They have to get together soon, not on the last season of the whole show. If the fans grow impatient than people will stop watching. If they got together it wouldn't be the end of the show because this would create a new story. Plus, the show doesn't just revolve around them. It would create great story lines for season 4.
YES!!!! It's been 3 damn years! LOL! I want to see Jim & Pam in a relationship on the show, the writers are so amazing on the show that I would love to see the ups and downs they would go through as a couple. :)
i think the repressed tension between Jim and Pam is what driives the show. i don't think they should get together because then this element will be lost.
duh they should cause i dont think jim is likin the S..E...X he is getting right now tat much also they should have a huge fight as a episode after a night of bad sex then make up at the end with a huge pie fight when dwight gets nailed with a pie he is alergeic to then has to go to the hospital but he does not want to and then stabs himself with an eppy pen lik 4 times before he gets him on speed

I think it will be second season, but maybe a kiss here and there and even more stuff like that. I will enjoy their relationship. Fighting will be some of it to. Tension will always we there.
The writers are very well educated and get payed for writing stuff we like. Obviously look on the bright side. I DEFINITLEY AM!

they should get together. i mean they've been chasing each other for three seasons and it'll be too cruel to the viewers to not let them be together. even the actors are hoping they get together.
and "if they get together, then it's no show?" um...there's more to the office than JAM even though it's a great plot. But that's a B plot to the office. the A plot is michael scott and his relationship with his workers.

The question was whether or not they should get together in season 4, NOT if they should get together eventually. Clearly, everyone wants them to get together in the end, but that is at the end of all of the seasons, not at the end of season 4. I dont know about you, but i sure would not be satisfied with just one more season of the greatest television show of out time. Once they are together, thats when the show should stop and the imagination takes over.
However, as my friend noted above, the writers are geniuses, and i sure am glad they are writing the show and not me.
Honestly, I'm really kind of agreeing with the anti-getting together people. If they get together, then...what happens? BUT I have faith in the writers. If they could entertain us with JAM when they weren't going out, I'm sure they could think up some pretty interesting in-relashionship plots.
I am conflicted. If there is no more JAM tension, there may not be a show anymore. But, they do want to keep it realistic, and they have been so far. So if the writers keep the relationship real, I think the show could go on. I am so for JAM!

HECK YES!!!!!! JAM has to get together now!! I mean we've waited four seasons for this wonderous moment- I think it would be wise to ease up on the JAM tension, and just let the viewers enjoy the fact that Jim and Pam are together and happy!!
